Steamboat Springs is a superb ski resort with a wide variety of runs of all difficulties. With two large supermarkets in the town a few km away, self-catering in the well equipped kitchen is easy. The free shuttle to the base of the lifts could not be more convenient- it leaves from your door and drops you off at the base village a short walk to the lifts and services. Take in the lovely view over the valley while relaxing in the comfortable lounge / dining area.

The town of Steamboat is nice but expensive and not really set up for vegetarians except for Mexican/ Asian restaurants. Dinner for a family of four at a decent sit down place is $100 at least. It's easy to get around on public transportation and if you stay at a place that offers it's own shuttle the convenience of getting to the resort increases.
The ski resort is excellent and if you're coming for the slopes I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The mountain is not groomed well and the trails are not marked well. The lift staff need more supervision in some places as they are not attentive and not directing traffic during crowded times. The mountain needs a bathroom facility at the top of Sunshine, Sundown and new gondola lifts.

I liked the proximity to ski lifts walking with skis & in ski boots or snowboards. I loved unit had bathtubs & full kitchen, even if you didnt want to cook. Makes it nice for breakfast or could stop for lunch. I loved the jacuzzis. Unit beds were great! Could stand different comforters or new blankets. But as a rental & a landlord myself understand why they had what they have, easy to wash & reuse.

A very walkable city, and still with free mass transit if you want it. Lots of very good food options, and unlike the mountain itself, everything was open. The Mountain is pretty much completely shut down, with few restaurants or shops even open.

This was the last night of a week long trip staying in "chain" hotels. Walking in the front door you could tell this place had a little humanity invested in it. Our room was clean and spacious, but it does need an outlet station for electrical gadgets. Also, the person at the front desk said parking is in the back, but we watched nearly every person (including us) walk to a door in the back that is a staff door. They need to give better directions or add signage. Right off the west door is a lovely paved bike/running trail.
Room had recently been remodeled, room and furniture were clean and in good shape. The bed and sofa were very comfortable. The bathroom had nice fittings but was small. Parking was easy and getting around was excellent, city buses serving both the ski resort and the downtown area stopped right outside the hotel frequently. The ongoing construction was obvious but didn't create any noise during sleeping hours.
The location was in the heart of downtown steamboat. We walked to everything. Very friendly staff. It's not your upscale hotel, so if you need anything they were prompt to bring it to you. I liked how they didn't go into your room unless you asked. I do suggest if you can't do stairs Especially with your luggage to request the bottom floor.
Very central location for Downtown. Staff very friendly and helpful with advise on places to eat, visit as our first time there. Travelled for a college visit from Chicago- great place for our son to go to college, and fab snow sports facilities for him as well as summer adventures.
Very friendly town, everyone happy and helpful
Very pleased to have been in this hotel, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, the facilities are spacious, beautiful and very well maintained, everything was clean. Eric was very kind to give my daughter ice cream for her birthday. We will definitely return another time!
Great rooms, very clean, very quiet, very comfortable. Breakfast was great too, several choices for hot and cold food, and the coffee was well-dosed and not watered down like many other hotels. We really enjoyed this place and would definitely stay here again.
My wife and I loved all it!! We arrived it was a beautiful day we sat and relaxed by the pool the room was awesome had dinner, got up the next morning and had coffee by the fireplace of the beautiful entrance of the hotel staff were wonderful.
We visited town only for one night but location was still great. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Rex’s American Grill Bar which is part of hotel was also perfect, do not leave hotel without trying their amazing dishes!
The hotel staff does little more than check registered guests in and provide written information on local activities. It is irritating that they can’t help with reservation information or needed changes.
The condo was well equipped with everything you would need for a short stay. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of parking. Could take a free bus into Steamboat which picks up nearby.
The staff was amazing! I made a mistake in booking online and the staff helped me to correct it. I would 100% recommend this hotel and stay there again.
