Full kitchens and a helpful staff. They had the best Gluten Free breakfast I have seen in any hotel. Udi’s muffins, and gluten free waffles on a separate waffle iron. The staff was helpful getting us rooms near each other as well.

Durango was great. The riverwalk through the heart of town is great - watch out for bicycles though! If you drive 2-3 hours in any direction you can see some of the most beautiful places in the country. North into the San Juan Mountains, East through the mountains to Great Sand Dunes, West to Mesa Verde, Arches, Canyonlands, and Monument Valley, and South to Santa Fe.

I lived in the Durango area for several years and had to move away. This was another revisit. The main attraction is the railroad. I have taken the Cascade run and it is a wonderful experience. I believe Durango has a good mix of acitivites for young and old. There are so many great restaurants and children appear to be welcome. It is a tourist town, yet I have always found that customer service is great wherever I go. There are galleries and books stores and toy stores. There is so much history to glean with exciting stories of the settlers and the miners in the area. Then of course, the outdoor activities are year round and endless. The mountain views are topped only by the ones in Ouray and Silverton in this area.

We liked The Office for dinner and live music. We were surprised we couldn’t find good Mexican food.

Cost of living went through the roof during/after the pandemic. Durango is experiencing a housing crisis. Stunning location and close to beautiful country. Spirit of the town has changed dramatically over the years. Spirit of the mountains and surrounding area is naturally the same. The town feels kinda fake.

A nice town. Touristy, but nice.
A nice town. Touristy, but nice. Great Hotel, older, small rooms, but very nice. Very close to D&SNGRR depot, so very handy for us. Nice town, but, perhaps a bit pricey overall. But, we knew were on vacation, and we certainly enjoyed our stay.
The building location is wonderful, allowing us to park and then walk around downtown. We enjoyed the lounge very much - drinks & live entertainment! Our waitress was attentive and very pleasant. The hotel is beautifully restored and decorated. Our bathroom was more functional than many motel rooms are, with adequate counter space, towel bars and supplies. Nice shower but kind of weak water pressure. Although it was quite warm out and the cooling system has a tough time of it, we were able to stay comfortable.
The staff was excellent. Sky in particular was very helpful. After we had checked out of the hotel, I was contacted by Sky informing me that we had left a valuable piece of electronics in our hotel room. She informed me that she had it and want to return it. Thank you Sky and housekeeping for being so honest and helpful.
The location of the hotel was excellent and just a few short minutes to historic downtown Durango. The white-water rafting company was equally as close.
Good hotel. It's pretty new, modern and clean - as are the rooms. Parking is free. The rooms are not overly large but adequate. The equipment is good and the beds are comfy. It's nothing exciting, just a really good, basic hotel. It's situated a bit outside city center but you'll be on main street in like 5 minutes by car. Would absolutely stay here again, also given that the number of nice hotels in the region is not too high.
This was one of the biggest and nicest hotel rooms we have stayed in! For no additional cost, we got a (fake) fireplace with the king room. The hotel is very new and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were exceptional. We were within walking distance to downtown and the train station. I would absolutely stay here again.
Wonderful apartment. we stayed two nights and felt very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and cosy. the staff was helpful and very friendly. washing machine and dryer comes for free, so does the hot tub on the roof, which we loved. thanks for having us Durango.
I think the pool and hot tub were my favorite part of my stay. Once you get there you will see what I mean. The rooms all have the giant windows that give a classy feel to the hotel along with being located practically downtown Durango. It’s one of my favorite hotels in the city.
We loved the location, great modern hotel in Durango, just a few minutes drive from the “downtown” Durango and close to everything. The rooms and hotel were updated and comfortable, like other Spring Hill suites we have stayed in.
Staff was awesome! Breakfast was great! The room we had was a balcony room facing the river and we could hear it at night. Wonderfully located to the train station and downtown! We will stay no where else when we are in Durango!
The location next to the Durango and Silverton railway. Being able to leave our bags at reception whilst we took the train journey to Cascade Canyon. Good parking. Lots of choice for breakfast.
Staffs are friendly, good location on main street, only 1 miles walk to downtown or can take city trolley, big room, and comfort with amenity, good restaurants nearby.
Convenient location 5 minutes from downtown Durango. Clean room. Nice layout with large bathroom and cute sitting area. Appreciated having hulu on the tv.
Loved the location right in the main strip. Friendly environment and excellent staff. Like the older look of the hotel you can see like the historicness
