I like that it was close to Glen Helen Raceway and the bed were soft enough to sleep on. Price was reasonable.

NO HOT WATER in 40° F weather. Slow flush of toilet.
NO HOT WATER in 40° F weather. Slow flush of toilet. No recourse to fix these unacceptable conditions during the day. A few hours before checkout, a random collision with receptionist revealed that water pipes were frozen - so no hot water. For that I pay $200+/ night? UNACCEPTABLE.

I wanted to book a hotel name Mountain view cabins, in Golden, BC, Canada and not in (with a similar name) California, USA. I called the hotel and they said they can’t do anything and I need to speak to the booking.com as I did booking with it. I also sent messages through the booking portal but no response I have gotten so far.
But why should I talk to or chase around hotel when I know it’s a complete mistake of booking.com as simply when I am checking a hotel in Golden, BC, Canada with the same name hotel “Mountain view cabins” how the hell you booked a hotel in USA. I want my money back else I will give you very bad reviews and also will take a legal action against booking.com. I will never ever use booking.com and I will also share my bad experiences with my friends and family members and will suggest them never use this spam platform named booking.com.
Moreover, You guys do not have courage to call me even when I informed you that during midnight I had to suffer and had to travel couple of places in Golden and had to take an overpriced hotel as it was around 12:30 am. You are disgusting booking.com.

Wrightwood is an easy, short drive from San Diego, and Mountain High ski resort is so close to the village. The town has several eating establishments and hotels/motels.
We had dinner at the Blue Ridge Inn---EXCELLENT food, many options for fresh seafood, steaks, soups and salads. Service was attentive and unhurried and while it was not over the top, it was pretty much "fine dining" with similar pricing. The atmosphere is lovely, large dining room with heavy dark furniture. Casual dress suits the ski village and the staff were friendly and very accommodating.
We had breakfast and lunch at Evergreen Cafe and it was a great place for sandwiches, omelets. Adorable decore and very reasonable prices. Server was very helpful and friendly.
