King cabin was unique and spacious. Location was convenient to Mammoth Mountain. The open fires are great for apres-ski and to enjoy the sunset. The kitchenette was sufficient to make small meals and well equipped.

Mammoth looks good in the pictures, but the restaurant...
Mammoth looks good in the pictures, but the restaurant choices are very limited, and there are no Doordash type services available anywhere on the mountain. You literally couldn't even get a pizza delivered. If you're traveling with a family, I would go somewhere else - this is not a family friendly place.

Mammoth Lakes is mainly for skiers during the winter but could be a great destination for families with kids too. There's a lot of areas where you can just pull over and sled with your kid. Wooly's Adventure Summit also just opened their Mountain Coaster ride which is so much fun.
One thing I would highly recommend is booking your attraction tickets in advance because the line to buy the tickets can be very long.

Best Western Properties have changed in Mammoth Lakes.
Best Western Properties have changed in Mammoth Lakes. This one was not familiar to me, and the one with which I was familiar is no longer a Best Western property.
The room itself was fine, clean, albeit a little odd in it's elongated arrangement (kind of like a train car).
However, the lack of an elevator, the many flights of stairs to access 2nd floor room, the creaky locks on the (apparently) old door fixtures (I had to ask for help to get OUT of the hotel!to the rear parking lot), and the general appearance, arrangement of the place are why I chose 3 stars.
The breakfast room and its attendant were fine. The housekeepers were cheerful and helpful.
Oh sorry! I thought this was a review for Best Western!!!

In Summer, Mammoth has a lot to offer if you are into trails, seeing stunning lakes and waterfalls, doing various adrenalin activities like mountain biking or wakeboarding.
We ran out of time to do everything (I would've liked to have gone to Brodie), but can recommend the trail from Devils Postpile to Rainbow Falls which was truly spectacular. It's also worth viewing the lakes at sunrise or sunset to get a different perspective of the landscape. Finally, a trip on the gondola was good fun with great hot chocolates served at the summit!

There are so many things to do in and around Mammoth Lakes.
There are so many things to do in and around Mammoth Lakes. Mountain biking, hiking trails, coffee shops and restaurants. And Mammoth Lakes provides a jumping off point to Red's Meadows, Tioga Pass highway and Tuolumne and Yosemite, June Lake, Lee Vining, Mono Lake and its Visitors Center.

Beautiful place to visit with many hidden lakes on the June Loop easy to reach and complete within an hour or so no stopping in the Summer. Come during holidsys Xmas and it was decoratedcute with lights and a Xmas tree. Loved it! Perfect for family or friends getaway long weekend 3 days barely enough or short family trip 4-5 days is best.
It was a tiny room with exactly what it needed to have- a comfortable bed, a microwave, and a shower. More U.S. hotel rooms should be like this- our national obsession with "bigger means better" has always been tiresome and kinda embarrassing. Rooms this size are yet another lesson we should take from the rest of the world. It was pretty ludicrously expensive ($130+) for what it was, but that's Mammoth Lakes for you- it was the cheapest room we could find on a Monday night.
We only arrived here in the evening and had to leave at 7am the next day but the hotel and staff seemed lovely from our brief impressions. We'd definitely spend longer in this area in future. Mono Lake is beautiful and worth visiting at sunset and it looks like the hotel is very conveniently located next to lots of other very interesting things.
Location is great and stuff is friendly. However, we were put in the worst room that felt being in the basement and had an up-view of parking. Lodge has bunch of rooms with balconies facing the mountains. It was Sunday and hotel had vacancies. I guess one has to request the best room available prior to check in. Otherwise, you rely on luck.
We booked a one-bedroom suite and it was quite comfortable for our family. View from the room was amazing from the high floors. The facilities were really great. Overall, a great experience and the perfect place to stay if you are planning to stay at Mammoth Lakes.
Nice motel in Mammoth Lakes, we spend a day in Mammoth Lakes after visiting Death Valley and before entering Yosemite.
The Motel is very nice with all the amenities you would expect and the hot-tube plus.
Room is ample and has a coffe machine and microwave oven
Staff very warm and friendly, this made a real difference. Room very clean and comfortable. Location excellent. Also, I only discovered the Loop Trail just behind the hotel on my last day -- this was a real bonus and maybe should be advertise more!
Right in the centre of Mammoth Lakes, but off the main road. Good size fridge in the room. Really enjoyable buffet breakfast. I can imagine Cinnamon Bear Inn would be so cozy in the winter (we stayed in September).
Clean room with comfotable bed and pretty bathroom. The hotel looks better inside than outside. Breakfast was great: bagels, cream cheese, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles :).
The hotel room and facilities were very clean and modern, a great place to relax and rest after active days outdoors. The location was great with lots of good food options nearby.
Free breakfast was very nice. The hotel offered coffee, milk, hot chocolate, scrambled eggs, French toast, boiled eggs.
The deluxe suit itself was newly remodeled and clean.
