Location was amazing. Very convenient for skiing. The condo was well stocked, comfortable, and perfect for our family of 5.

A very cozy pet friendly stay with awesome staff and cool amenities. There’s not much to do around the area but it’s great if you want the peacefulness of the wilderness. Close enough to drive to places but still tucked off from all the chaos of Stateline. Will def be back!

We couldn’t stay there as we had no access to a room. No code for any room available for us. No office. Called management but it was only a Mexican language man that didn’t comprehend English at all and he hung up on me. Not once. Not twice but three times. A very scary and ran down place.

I was supposed to stay two nights to enjoy the summer outdoors and trails. I unfortunately had a family emergency to deal with and could not stay. The resort ignored my request to cancel and charged me full price, $500.00 for the two nights, even though I did not stay. Unacceptable.

To repeat, the place was deserted, creepy feeling of being the only one in the building. Tv remote was impossible to use. How about some good instructions???
The room was clean and comfortable except the window and balcony door were very dirty, spoiling the view of the mountains and sunset.
I wish I had known that arriving after five would mean the grocery store and check-in would both be closed.

No real amenities this time of year.
No real amenities this time of year. There is one store that charges a huge mark up on food, coffee...two medium cups of coffee for $10.00?!! Only one restaurant opened - the Kirkwood Inn and Saloon - and last year when we came the employees of the hotel blamed slow service and order mix ups on wi-fi service being down...same story this year. While the hiking and views are gorgeous we would rather drive another 40 minutes and stay in South Shore Tahoe
The best asset was the proximity to the base camp and the lifts. I spent more time boarding than walking. this season's snowfall means that there will be more opportunities for returning.
There was no breakfast. I didn't know there were no restaurants open on sight. The Kirkwood Inn was not open until 11:00 am so we had to go off sight into Tahoe to get a meal.
