Cheap hotel, no bugs! I paid in advance for a king SMOKING ROOM, but they didn’t keep one for me!! I am really mad about that. The smoking room was the only reason I would stay there. There were a lot of homeless around, some were fighting!! I honestly was frightened every time I had to go OUTSIDE TO HAVE A SMOKE!!

Never choose these lodgings again. Hope is greater than expectations. I had hoped I would fine a joyous birthday. I was meet with disaster. I ordered a steak that was sinewy and grissle. Seasoned as an amateur and grilled like a novice. As a chef I resiant this worthless attempt at making and offering a presentable meal. Same on his/her talents. shame for letting the quality of your brand fall low. I am only one but one that is never more.

Sometimes the cheap hotels in this area are roach infested or have a bunch of loiters. The rain kept the loiters away and I didn't find a single roach so this was a fortunate departure from my normal AirBNB choice; which was booked for my stay.

Bakersfield is a nice town if panhandling on every off ramp and at every stop light and trash scattered throughout every alley or back road you take and having the alignment redone on your vehicle before heading back home do to all the pot holes in the roads and parking lots

Great value for money compared to other hotels we have stayed on in this trip, and breakfast was Included. Pool was clean, and secure, although some of the loungers need replacing. Laundry room was very helpful and easy to use - reception happy to provide quarters ($3.50 per load, and same to dry).

There are precious few options, and Bakersfield seemed likely. This hotel was reasonable, near center of town, and offered free parking and breakfast. The facility is older, but my room was clean and had a mini-fridge and microwave. All staff were friendly and helpful. Not the best part of town, but I noticed several construction worker guests and their trucks there, which was reassuring. They aren't going to stay/park where their equipment will be stolen.
