We didn't know at what time we will get there, so it was good, that key was already waiting for us and despite the darkness, it was easy to find the cabin. Cabin was spacious and in the kitchen we found everything that we needed for our meals.

This property is such a gem! Having traveled to both Bergen and Oslo before hand, this was by far the most comfy and spacious of the places we stayed. It was clean and easy to find (with a map) and close to the stores to get food. Will happily stay here again!

We didn’t like that the owner is advertising pictures with a view of the fiord from the cabin and we could see only two cabins in front of us!! Pictures which he used are taken from a different cabin on the property. It was also hard to get hold of him. It took us 1 and half hour. Also the public road behind the cabin was noisy.

Beautiful fjord, Nice village with a really nice walk along the fjord. Recommended for kids, too: lots to play with. One day in Sogndal is enough though. Be aware: you have to pay for parking everywhere in Sogndal! Even for the supermarket parking spaces. Recommended trips in the area: * Boyabreen glacier * E-Bike Tour from Haflso to Veitastrond (Tungestolen)

The cabins have an amazing view to the Fjord, and the huge glass windows will have you staring at the Fjord all the time. Just a note: the following part of the review is of the family cabin and not the studio cabin, we were switched due to a problem with our reservation. The family cabin is very well equipped with a washer machine, good kitchen, and sleeps 5. There are heated floors which come in handy with the cold weather (we visited in October), bathroom is nice and there's a small "living room" with tv and a couple sofas

Amazing valley views. Spacious house was very comfortable for our 2 families of 4 adults and 5 young kids. All the amenities we could need, like a fire pit/grill, playroom for the kids, fireplace, basic cooking spices and condiments, and a well stocked kitchen. The house was sparkling clean and very nicely designed. Good location—about 1.5 hrs from Flam and just 15 min from the nice town of Sogndal (has a shopping mall and several different grocery stores). We absolutely loved it here and would come back in a heartbeat!

We arrived late on the Sogndal plane from Oslo and caught the public transport bus directly from the Airport which stops opppsite the Hotel. As the sun never fully sets during summer, we then enjoyed a relaxing but stunning balcony view. The staff went out of their way to ensure our time with them went well, and provided us direction on making our holiday a success. The Hotel has a great deal to offer a family travelling in rural Western Norway, and would be a great ski lodge in Winter.

The staff was always friendly and helpful. The pool was close to our cottage and Lekeland was a spacious and pleasant place for children to have fun. The area is quiet and conducive to rest. There are very good opportunities for walks, a beach in the fjord, there are shops nearby and everything you need for your stay. The water in the pool was pleasantly warm, which is very nice for the children. The cottages have cooking facilities and almost everything you need to stay there.

The small, historic house is in a beautiful setting up a short hill overlooking the fjord. You could see far into the distance and the light changed wonderfully with the time of day. We went for a long walk along the road up the fjord. Hjelle was very helpful with solving my SIM card problem, and he welcomed us nicely to the house. The kitchen is very well set up for cooking, and would be perfect for a longer family stay.

We stayed in the lodge in August. We felt in love with this beautiful house immediately, the view from the terrasse is splendid, the location is quiet and close to Sogndal, The lodge is perfectly well equiped. The communication with the owner was very good and friendly. On top of that, the lodge has à green roof, typical in Norway, and we loved it. This was just PERFECT

The Cabin is modern, clean and light. The kitchen is very well equipped. It has beautiful view from large terrace but also from inside. . We spent there three relaxing days. There are nice hiking trails in the area, we also visited beach close to Sogndal (Eide) and Boyabreen glacier. Our children enjoyed wifi and Netflix.

Great location on outskirts of town. Pleasant walk to town along waterside boardwalk with small kids play/climbing area along the way (great as parking is tricky in Sogndal). Very friendly and helpful staff. Really comfy beds and super showers. Very happy we chose this accommodation.
