Big clean room. Walking distance from restaurants, the harbor, a lovely bakery, and local brewery
Husavik was our favourite town in Iceland. Fabulous whale watching cruise, including two rarely seen blue whales. The GeoSea Thermal Pools are a great spot for a beer in a warm salt water pool overlooking the ocean. Several excellent restaurants and bars too.

Whale watching was excellent on the sunset trip at 7.30-10.30pm. Watched four humpback whales surface feeding and diving down.
Puffin colony nearby too. Good for seabird watching. Otherwise not much to Husavik for us - a service centre with fuel, food shops, a few restaurants and new pool complex that looked good but we did not visit.

Whale Watching was a bonus as we managed to spend 30 minutes with a Minke. If you are driving to Husavik from south, then make sure you have ample time to stop and admire the highlands and also complete the diamond circle. Make sure you stick to speed limit of 90KM across Iceland ;-)

I stayed here mostly for the GeoSea spa.
I stayed here mostly for the GeoSea spa. It was very snowy so I ended up cutting some of the driving out of my day and got here early. Except for whale watching and the spa, there is almost nothing to do here. (Unless you're there at the time of the music festival). A great place to stay though if you're seeing the diamond circle. Lovely views and nice people in town as well.

Husavik is a delight!
Husavik is a delight! The spot to experience the north Coast of Iceland. Lots to see and do, dont miss out on the bath! Very good restaurants. Use Google! Museums, whale and puffins, just get the atmosphere of a harbour facing the far north.
We drove up north on F25 and consideringit takes another two hours to get there once you hit Road1 we thought this was overdoing it a bit. But no.
I instead wish we had stayed overnight closerto Akureyri and continued to Husavik. The drive is just to beutiful to do whenyou are tried. Spend at least two nights, -the point is not to feel stressed. Then continue to Myrvatn.
By far the most beautiful place I stayed at in Iceland. 20 minutes away from Husavik gives it an advantage to be in a quiet area and drive a bit if you need food or grocery.
Instruction was sent beforehand with clear steps and info.
Cabin was very clean, nice touches, equipped very well, comfortable and overall very beautiful.
The outside is even better. Hot tub (uses geothermal water) with the green and mountain view just was magnificent.
Definitely going to here again in my next visit.
It can be said that the hotel had 2-star status, so of course you can't ask for great service. In addition, our visit was in the complete off-season - in the middle of winter. Thank you to the hosts for the opportunity to stay in Husavik and enjoy the hospitality. The hotel is in a very good and easily accessible location, as well as close to all the sights of the hotel (if, of course, the roads are open at all in winter) ... For budget travelers, the hotel is definitely recommended.
We LOVED staying here. To check in, the company send you a code and you check yourself in. It was so easy and nice! There is free parking and it is right near the few restaurants, gas stations, iconic Husavik church, and the whale watching excursions. We had a whale watching excursion and were able to leave the car here. It was super easy! The room was very roomy- there was a small minifridge, couch, double bed, and bathroom. The shower was very nice and clean. There was also a TV.
The hotel is very modern and the room was really comfortable. Husavik is a small town and the hotel is really 3 minutes away from the harbour, where all the boats and tours leave.
It was lively and crowded, as there is a bar, restaurant, music-a nice vibe!
The breakfast buffet was really good, with many options, especially different pastries. Definetely recommended!
Very friendly and warm host, clean property, great location in the heart of Husavik close to the harbor, wonderful breakfast (with vegan options for my girlfriend) served to the room at your preferred time, staff helped with booking whale watching (and there is even a discount for those who book through the guesthouse - only for the large boat tours)
The location was perfect in close to Husavik. The view over the harbor was very nice. It has everything we needed and then some. Good communication before and after arrival. The location is above a supermarket but you really did not notice it. But it was very convenient if you needed anything. The washer/ dryer were great.
Beautiful house, like small apartment, much better than any classic hotel rooms !
Beautiful, comfortable, new and clean.
And that view .... just amazing !
We are on our road trip around Iceland and this is absolutely the best place we stay !
I higly recommend this. 🗻🇮🇸💙
Located on an active farm. Hotel rooms are beautifully redone cow stalls that provided great comfort after a long drive along the ring road. The staff were extremely welcoming and helped make the stay pleasant. Only a stone’s throw from Husavik.
Had a great stay in Husavik
Clean remodeled rooms
Good coffee machine and breakfast
Hosts were super nice to talk to and it was obvious that they really care about the place and every guest

Our favorite hotel in Iceland, hands down! The hospitality here is top-notch. We felt completely welcome from the moment we arrived. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere, location, and facilities are perfect. 5 stars!
Very nice hotel, cosy, big, warm rooms; all needed facilities are there. Location is incredible - just in front of the waterfall. We havent visited restaurant, but it looked really nice and inviting!
The room is not the biggest but offers all comfort and is clean. Breakfast is also very good.
There is not a lot of parking-space in front of the hotel, but there is enough in the back.
If you are looking for a hotel at the end of the world, you've come to the right place !!! Quiet, easy, idyllic. Clean shared kitchen, well equipped. Too bad it was only one night.
The hotel is located centrally and the room was a standard size for Iceland. The common area is right off of the room but not an issue as everyone staying was quiet and courteous.
The hotel was in a great location. We literally walked across the street to visit Godafoss after we arrived. The room was spacious and had a nice bathroom. The internet was fast.
The room was fine and it is equipped with good facilities except for a small fridge. The location was great. It is in the heart of Husavik. The hotel is peaceful as well.
What a gem! Breathtaking views, quiet, excellent design throughout. Now if they only had harder matresses this could be our favourite hotel in the whole of Iceland.
