Service in the casual dining area was slow, not enough staff. As there isn't a menu provided for the Saturday morning breakfast didn't realize we paid £35 for a bowl of cereal, toast and coffee until the bill came. The concierge was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Fantastic place to visit but extremely crowded.

Fantastic place to visit but extremely crowded. For example, although we had purchased tickets ahead for the Tower of London tour, my granddaughter did not get to see the Crown Jewels because the line was miles long with a wait time of hours. Favorite spots included, the Tower Bridge, the Shard, the London Eye, Frameless Immersive Art, Westminster Abbey, and Oxford Street. Trips to Stonehenge, Bath, and the Cotswolds were also favorites and well-worth a visit. Getting around London by the Underground is very easy. Lots of great restaurants, cafes, and coffee bars. Tour guides told us that there is really no time except November when London is not extremely crowded with tourists. For us, Easter week was extremely crowded and this increased wait times at all major venues unless we had a timed entry pass.

What a fantastic city for art lovers.

What a fantastic city for art lovers. Great free (and a few paid) museums. The only disappointing one was the Royal Academy of Arts. Well worth lengthy visits are the National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, Courtauld Gallery, Tate Britain, Tate Modern, British Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, and for those interested in Italian Futurism, the very small Estorick Collection. And Westminster Abbey, of course. The London Eye, despite the crowds and long wait, offers great views of the city from high above. Excellent transportation system. Great trains for daytrips to places like Oxford, Cambridge, and Canterbury, with trains usually on time to the minute. Ample food choices--much higher quality than 50 years ago.

Took a lazy trip to London for a birthday celebration and to catch up with friends. It's an amazing place and the Underground makes it easy to get around. There's an almost unbeatable range of food and drink on offer, including some of the very best, but overall it tends towards the expensive even for cheaper options.

London! So much to do in such an amazing place!

London! So much to do in such an amazing place! Some of the best museums in the world, for free! Just when you think you've seen all you can handle by foot, bag yourself a Thames tour boat and see the city through the eyes of a tour guide! Amazing! The 'tap in; tap out' facility of the underground is world leading! I'll admit I couldn't live there. It's the most mentally exhausting city you could imagine. But great to visit!! London, the sprawling metropolis that stands as a testament...

London, the sprawling metropolis that stands as a testament to history, culture, and modernity, is a city that defies simple categorization. Each of its boroughs presents a unique flavor, contributing to the rich tapestry that is London's identity. From the iconic landmarks of Westminster to the eclectic streets of Shoreditch, every corner of this city offers something distinct and memorable. My favourite part of London is Shoreditch, a neighborhood that pulses with creative energy and urban cool. Known for its vibrant street art, quirky boutiques, and thriving nightlife, Shoreditch is a mecca for artists, designers, and trendsetters. Here, one can explore the ever-evolving street art scene, browse vintage shops for unique finds, or sample artisanal coffee at one of the many hip cafes that dot the area. Whether day or night, Shoreditch never fails to captivate with its eclectic mix of cultures and cutting-edge creativity.

The hotel is basically built over a road, so if you are unlucky enough to get a room on the first three floors you may be stuck in a bizarre manoeuvre to access the front door. It is also tricky to find the front door, one could find oneself roaming around the wrong building in an effort to find an open door or the entrance. The lobby is quite subtle amongst the buildings in the area.. looks like an office lobby with minimal signage. But once inside, it is very nice and the breakfast buffet is terrific by London standards.

Lovely, friendly guy greeted us on arrival, happily gave us advice on getting around London. Our twin room was spacious for London. Very clean throughout and comfortable beds. The tea and coffee facilities and fridge were a bonus too. We were very happy with everything for the price we paid - it was cheaper than most hotels we've stayed in and much nicer. The location was great too - just around the corner from Baker Street station with plenty of eating establishments a short walk away.

Great choice for a short trip. Cozy and welcoming; very familiar atmosphere and friendly staff. Loved the decoration. My sister and I stayed at Room 22. Not many hotels with twin beds! Great location, near to cafes and restaurants, but quiet at night. Close to Paddington station (final stop Heathrow Express). Easy to get to Central London: close to three Underground stations and bus stops. There are bigger, more expensive rooms for couples too.

Very comfortable and clean, great staff.Rooms need abit more updating, no saving mirror in the bathroom, no mirror on the office desk to do your hair and make-up so had to either stand up in the bathroom or sit on the floor by the wardrobe. It would have been a good idea to have a hotel channel on the TV to promote all the hotels facilities, restaurant, breakfast, hire cars and what London has to offer.

Beautiful, tiny rooms that are easily accessible to the Earl's Court stop on the Underground. Took less than an hour to get to Heathrow. They also let you check your bags if the rooms aren't ready upon arrival. There are hotels in London that cost the same with amenities such as a swimming pool and laundry facilities but access to public transportation was a huge help.

This is one of those small London hotels converted from apartments. So more a series of rooms than a normal 'hotel'. No dining, bar or leisure facilities. More a 'room for the night'. Rooms are very compact, especially the bathroom but modern and clean and fine for one night. Great location near King's Cross station. Good value for money.

Clean, modern in both the public areas and rooms. Considering this is at a Travelodge and Premier Inn budget hotel price-point, this totally blows both of them away for style and delivery. Room was tiny (it is central London) but it was well designed with lots of storage, comfortable bed and small shower but plentiful hot water.

Stayed in a single room that was equipped with a proper desk (not always the case in London's hotels!). Breakfast is a good one and the location as well (easily walkable distance to Soho and subway station 50 metres from the front door). Not necessarily cheap, but not expensive considering the level of the room provided.
