London has something for everyone.

London has something for everyone. My family of 4 always have a great time in London because it can accommodate all of our different interests. For my husband, we always visit a new beautiful garden. So far we’ve been to Green, Buckingham Palace, Holland, Kensington, Hyde, Regent’s & Greenwich Parks. On our first visit we went to many museums (Tower of London, British Museum, Science Museum, Bank of England Museum, etc.). We’re all foodies & have enjoyed Chinatown (Little Four Seasons Duck, Golden Gate Cake Shop), street food in various markets (Petticoat Lane, Shepherds Bush, Spitalfields Markets), and some fantastic restaurants (ex: Royal China-Bakers St. for dim sum, Flat Iron for steak & cheeseburger, Mr. Dumpling for dumplings & noodle soup, Dan Dan - Aldgate for Spicy Beef Noodle Soup, The Wolsley City for Sunday Roast & Afternoon Tea, Eat Tokyo-Soho for sushi dinner between Harry Potter shows). Two of us enjoy theater & musicals, so we always see a show when we visit. When the children were younger we did a Spy Adventure Trail which was a fun way to explore the city. This time we wanted to do the Cutty Sark (historical ship turned museum) Rig Climb & Tour, but sadly early April was too early for this event. To sum up, London is a perfect family city vacation because there is something for everyone, no matter their age.

Central London crowds are overwhelming these days.

Central London crowds are overwhelming these days. Be sure to book tickets for events way in advance and try to avoid the rush hours. Recommend staying a little outside the center. It’s very easy to get around using the tube - buy an Oyster card.

What an amazing city!

What an amazing city! I knew the buildings were big and spectacular, but I didn't expect everything to be this huge. :) The people were incredibly kind everywhere, it became one of my favorite cities, for sure! The Poppies Fish and chips a great restaurant, I definitely recommend it. One evening I waited for an hour for bus number 11, but unfortunately it didn't come, even though the sign and the app said that theoretically 6 buses would have come in that hour, but apart from that everything was fine with public transport, the metro worked well too, although I found the metro a bit dirty. I would recommend that solo travelers like me see everything and see as much as they can, without having to conform to anyone.

It is convenient for my office and transport links. The standard of accommodation is very good, everything works and is clean, there is no congestion in moving about the property and staff are efficient and friendly. There are nice touches - chocks in the room to go with the nespresso, a complimentary baggage locator tag, complimentary newspapers. I have stayed here and with other Leonardo Hotels in London. They are well run and a credit to their management and owners.

Beautiful apartment in a lovely part of south London. Very quiet despite being so close to Balham high street and the train station. Lots of room for everybody, lovely bathrooms, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Excellent communication with Andy and Georgia. We picked this apartment as it was close to where our daughter works in London. We’ve stayed at many hotels and apartments in the 3/4 years she has lived there and this has definitely been our favourite.
