A large garden with apple trees and chickens running around is surrounded by wooden buildings. We had a large two room apartment plus a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable bathroom. Located at Gol it is at one of the crossroads in Southern Norway. I the evening we had nice talks at the outdoor open fire place with guests from other countries. Norwegian hospitality with a touch and warmth of South America.

We loved the unique accommodation with great attention to detail and sustainability. The juxtaposition of old and new features merged modern comforts and the soul of the traditional style in a very charming way. If we come back to Gol, this is where we would want to stay.

I was made to pay inappropriately extra for a mistake between the agent and hotel booking system. Breakfast was good and there's a terrace you can sit out on if the weather is fine. Car park is behind the main part of the hotel.

BBQ Option on the terrasse next to the Waterfront. (Just be aware its a Cabin, not a Hotel, bathroom outside, simple cooking equipment)
