The location in this park of Hokkaido and the excellent Onsen. Also the Japanese style accommodation was most comfortable and unique.

Staffs were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was cooked at your time of request and is more than what we expected in quality and quantity. The location is great in terms of getting to the unkai terrace, but there's only a few restaurants around

The nicest host I have ever had the pleasure to stay with! The beds were so comfy I didn't want to get out of bed each day.
Our host went over and above to make our stay excellent and even helped us with reservations or getting to nearby Tomamu in the evening for a walk around the village.

Despite there being many restaurants in the area it was difficult for me to find anything that was open at 6pm on a Sunday evening. Despite Google listing a whole bunch of restaurants as "open" I drove to numerous locations and they were all closed. I resulted in having to call ahead to restaurants and ended up going to a neighbouring town
