The room was incredibly large for its price - I paid approx. $120 for 2 days, and the room was much larger (25 m²) than the ones I'm used to staying in at Tokyo (ranging from 8 to 15 m² for the most part), and cheaper to boot! Would have been even cheaper if I'd opted for a single room as opposed to a twin room, but I just wanted to enjoy the extra space!
Staff was very fluent in English during my (admittedly brief) interactions with them - I had no issues whatsoever!
It might have just been the Sapporo weather, but I never really needed to fiddle with the AC settings during my two days in the hotel. It was cool enough that I was fine with the room as it was!
The hotel itself is very close to Sapporo Station, which makes getting around pretty easy! A lot of my destinations were close enough that I was able to walk around for most of my stay, which was nice.

If you’re visiting Sapporo, this hotel is highly recommended. It is close to Odori (subway) station and the Sapporo Streetcar (Tram). Pole Town (shopping area) was a few minutes away, and convenience stores were nearby. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms and facilities are clean and well-maintained. Breakfast is very good. It’s also good that the room has your own washing machine and trouser press, so you don’t have to bring many clothes.
Offering direct access from JR Sapporo Train Station, JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo offers accommodations with free Wi-Fi and wired internet.

Buffet breakfast was chaotic and crowded. Food was not replenished and presentation was unappealing. They ran out of soy sauce at the raw fish section.

Everything was close to everything, our hotel was like three minutes from the station. It was only 15 minutes to the mountain village where we saw cherry blossoms and a very nice zoo for 800 yen. It was a little bit cold and we were a few days late for the best cherry blossoms, but once we got settled it was a very nice 3 day visit. If you wanna eat good food for lunch you better do it before 2:00 PM because everything closes and then reopens at 5:00 PM. Nice restaurants we're closing by 8 PM. That was kind of strange.

I would love to go back and experience other seasons. Our timing was a little off because the ski parks are closed, it's not snowing, but there are no flowers/sakura yet. I would like to experience more.

A place to experience snow and a different architecture from the rest of Japan.
I was curious (still I am) about details in the history of this region that makes it quite different from other cities down south of Japan. The landscapes are excellent. People are polite and so kind towards foreigners/ non-japanese speakers. The overall impression made me really want to extend my stay there, or at least come back to revisit the place very soon.
I am not into skiing but this should be a great place for that activity, too.

The wet, cold, and windy March weather made outdoor...
The wet, cold, and windy March weather made outdoor exploration less enjoyable, especially with the dirty snow on public walkways. However, I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast hunting at Nijo Market and exploring the lively Tanukikoji Shopping Street. Although I didn't spend much time at Odori Park due to the harsh conditions, I believe Sapporo is worth spending at least three nights to fully experience its culinary delights, shopping, and sights.
this hotel is extremely luxurious. the design and attention to details is remarkable. rooms are elegant in a Japanese style design. we got little Japanese treats like walnut mochi and corn tea. we enjoyed yukatas we got for the stay. the bath was the most beautiful hotel bath we visited in our trip to Japan. and the free ice-cream was a fun little touch. breakfast was very rich, a Japanese high class breakfast with a big variety of choices to dring and an interesting menu being preperd when you arrive. perfect stay in Sapporo.
Excellent location, right next to Sapporo station, and close to city centre with restaurants. The rooms are not the most modern, but quite good overall and with very comfortable beds. The breakfast is a particular highlight of the hotel - there are two restaurants open for breakfast and the buffet downstairs has the largest selection I've ever come across in any hotel (a wide range of western, Japanese, Chinese and Korean foods, breads, pancakes, fruit etc). The staff are friendly and polite, the hotel was spotlessly clean.
Reasonable location 10mins walk from Sapporo Central on the North Side - A little far out of the City Centre, (45mins walk) but easily reached by metro or taxi. Hotel is brand new, so as you would expect, very clean and fresh. Whilst rooms are not big by European standards, they are very well laid out and I have stayed in a couple of variations of them and they are all very practical. There is high stack parking at the rear of the hotel, though it can take some time to recover your car during busy times.
Location is near Sapporo Station which is really good for me since I'm not keen on walking far like other stations in Odori or Susukino after my snowboarding session previously in Furano. Accessibility to convenience store is directly across the road or just 1 min walk out of the hotel on the left. Room is spacious for me and bath is also ok. I personally feel this is better than the Washington Hotel at Asahikawa that I stayed over 7 - 8 years ago with my mom.
This was my favourite hotel during the Japan visit! It's modern, clean, staff were helpful and friendly, and so conveniently located! We got a stunning view of Odori Park as well as Sapporo Tower. The beds were comfortable and the vibes of the hotel was cosy. Super conveniently located to Odori Station and roughly a 10-15 minute walk to Sapporo Station. Would 100% stay here again and would recommend to others!
i’ve seen a lot of comments about the hotel needing an update. However, everything was clean, functioned perfectly, and had a bit of retro charm. In addition, it is a very good value. staff was professional and courteous and the location next to Nakajima Park can’t be beat.
During the winter months, you can cross country ski with equipment provided free of charge by the city of Sapporo. What a great concept!
Modern hotel that has a very authentic feeling. We had a triple room so it was a nice size for us. The room and bathroom finishings are modern. The coin laundry is great too. It was close to the Odori Park which was easily accessible for Autumn Festival. The staff is really knowledgeable in terms of doing self-tours of Sapporo and Otoru.
Sapporo Grand was right smack in shopping central. Wow!
The room was spacious and well-provided for. Staff was courteous but hesitant to further engage guests. Concierge was very helpful in storing our luggage.
No worries about leaving things anywhere in Japan. They will always be where you left them. Mega-relief! Mega-respect!
the room size is huge, theres a shuttle bus to sapporo station. making our transport more convenient especially during winter with heavy snow. price is reasonable and definitely will stay again. theres a beautiful nakajima park near the hotel, can take VERY nice photos there as well.
Well liked everything. Staffs were all accommodating and helpful with all our query navigating Sapporo. Breakfast was good. Location was great. Its just accross
Lawson where we buy all we need after a long and tiring tour. Few meters away from the JR station and a big mall.
Hotel is new, room is clean and considerable spacious for Japan. Not too far from Sapporo station. There is a convenient store right across the road. Breakfast was nice (love the pudding!). Free coffee/tea service in the afternoon till night. Public bath also available.
It has great view from my room. The room very cleany and comfortable. It's near the beautyful park. If you walk from Sapporo station go to Hotel, it takes about 25minutes, but you can see many symbols and nice places along street.
The location is great. I went for the Sapporo snow festival and the hotel is right next to the park. It is also walking distance to Odori stn which is just 1 stop from Sapporo stn. There are also nice bars in walking distance.
We have a connecting room which is comfortable for family. You can find everything in the room. Location wise, is very near to the convenience shop accross the street. Subway is also withinwalking distance from the hotel.
The room had a grand view and could see even the Toyohira river. This hotel is the closest position to the center of
Nakajima Park and its beautifulness of autumn color was excellent.
Convenient location. Apartment was well equipped, and clean. Although there was no parking lots provided by the establishment, there were paid public parking lots just across the road.
Great location, only a few minutes to Sapporo station and a couple of minutes to Odori-park. Hotel is quite modern and very clean, well maintained. Check in was smooth hassle-free.
we loved that it got cleaned every single day. loved how close it was to Sapporo station (5-10 min walk) and there was a family mart right across the street.
