First, the location of the hotel is right in the middle of Susukino district. It is adjacent to the tanukikoji shopping and dining district. The airport limousine service stops nearby. There is a tram station right in front of the hotel. It has access to the underground mall that stretches to Sapporo station. The check in and check out procedure was fast and seamless. The pipe-in music too was just right.

Everything was close to everything, our hotel was like three minutes from the station. It was only 15 minutes to the mountain village where we saw cherry blossoms and a very nice zoo for 800 yen. It was a little bit cold and we were a few days late for the best cherry blossoms, but once we got settled it was a very nice 3 day visit. If you wanna eat good food for lunch you better do it before 2:00 PM because everything closes and then reopens at 5:00 PM. Nice restaurants we're closing by 8 PM. That was kind of strange.

I would love to go back and experience other seasons.
I would love to go back and experience other seasons. Our timing was a little off because the ski parks are closed, it's not snowing, but there are no flowers/sakura yet. I would like to experience more.

A place to experience snow and a different architecture from the rest of Japan.
I was curious (still I am) about details in the history of this region that makes it quite different from other cities down south of Japan. The landscapes are excellent. People are polite and so kind towards foreigners/ non-japanese speakers. The overall impression made me really want to extend my stay there, or at least come back to revisit the place very soon.
I am not into skiing but this should be a great place for that activity, too.

The wet, cold, and windy March weather made outdoor exploration less enjoyable, especially with the dirty snow on public walkways. However, I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast hunting at Nijo Market and exploring the lively Tanukikoji Shopping Street. Although I didn't spend much time at Odori Park due to the harsh conditions, I believe Sapporo is worth spending at least three nights to fully experience its culinary delights, shopping, and sights.

Sapporo is very easy get around either by walking or using the subway, buses and trams.
There are many parks and green spaces in and around Sapporo.
There is tasty local food as well as a large variety of international food.
For ski enthusiasts there are many ski resorts within a short distance of Sapporo.
The warmth of the cozy room, the comfort of the tatami mat, and the convenience of the excellent washing machine made our stay in Sapporo truly delightful. Though we had to buy detergent from a nearby store, it was a minor inconvenience that did not detract from the wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to explore Sapporo, as it is conveniently located near Odori Park and the Prince Hotel, where the bus from the airport drops off.
Very nice hotel I'd book again when coming back to Sapporo. Nice, decently sized, nicely furnished room. Modern bathroom with roomy shower. If you come by car you'll find a generous underground parking garage fitting any size of car, quite rare in big Japanese cities. Location is also good. It's right at Toyohira River with a 15 minute walk to the entertainment area of Susukino. While a Lawsons is across the street there aren't many restaurants in short walking distance
The hotel is located directly across Odori Park which is one of the places to see in Sapporo. The access to the subway system is right out the front door. Numerous shops and restaurants are located underground. Nijo Fish Market is within walking distance. The Sapporo TV Tower is across the hotel and there is a Beer Garden next to the TV tower that serves dinner. The staff are very accommodating. The bathroom is small but satisfactory.
Very convenient location with two subway stations nearby. Easy train access from the airport. Walking distance to the town centre. Excellent onsen. Adequate (not excellent) fitness centre. Comfortable, spacious twin bed room with good beds. Several restaurants in the hotel, the main one with a Spanish flavour, although many other choices nearby. Perfect for our recent trip to the Sapporo snow festival.
Centrally located being just 10-15 minutes walk away from Sapporo Station and the popular Odori Park and Susukino. The hotel has a direct entry to the underground passages, which is a fantastic feature travelers should utilize while in Sapporo.
Breakfast buffet was great with plenty of options (different restaurants to chose from). The room was very comfortable with modern amenities.
The hotel is located in a posh and quiet district in Sapporo. Have a very grand lobby. Spectacular view of the Nakajima Graden and the mountains nearby if you have a park view room.
Very close to the metro station just 1 min walk by taking the entrance adjacent to the boutique of the hotel. Very high quality and delicious buffet breakfast, helpful, polite and heart-warming hotel staff.
- Central location, virtually on top of the Odori train station, thru which all the major metro lines run (not including JR train lines mind you), the Odori Park and with the Sapporo TV Tower as your neighbour.
- Clean and tidy room and hotel facilities.
- Great roof top deck from which you can take cool photos of the Sapporo TV Tower as well as of the city.
- Comfy bed.
Love the set-up of all the JR Inn, very comfortable lounge, multiple units of washer-dryers, and public baths (optional). The room generally are very clean, not the most spacious at about 150ft2 to fit 2 XL luggage open barely. But we do enjoy the proximity of the hotel to ESTA shopping, Sapporo Station, Odori Park and Tanukikoji area. Amazing receiptionists too.
The onsen was awesome, i super love it! Free Hokkaido Vanilla ice cream after onsen. The location was good, walking distance to Sapporo station and Odori Park. Toiletries, yukata, bottled water, small snacks were provided in the room. I really loved my stay here. The staff were helpful when i forgot my key inside. I liked the smell of the hotel, very refreshing.
Good location, walking distance to Sapporo station or to Odori park. There’s a few exits from underground passageway, exit 7 or if you have heavy luggage you can use exit 5 or 8 with the lift. Underground shopping street all the way to Susukino station. Hotel staffs was friendly but couldn’t understand my question but still try to help me out with it.
I had a wonderful stay at Sapporo Tokyu REI Hotel. The hotel's location was superb and the rooms were spacious. What impressed me the most was the exceptional value for money it offered. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, I highly recommend Sapporo Tokyu REI for a comfortable and affordable stay in Sapporo.
Wonderful hotel very close to Odori park for the snow festival. My room was compact but very functional and comfortable. It was great to have a washer/dryer and also a microwave. Lots of restaurants and shops close by plus easy access to transport. I'd definitely stay again if I was back in Sapporo.
Well priced, about a 10 minute walk from the station, and it's right across from a 7/11 to grab some quick late night snacks while the other restaurants be closing by 10 mostly. Mostly used as a temporary stay on my way toward Niseko. Also had my own shower and toilet unlike some capsule hotels
Location can't be better, easy walking to big shopping areas, Odori park, JR Sapporo Station.
The staff are very friendly, caring and professional.
The hotel is well renovated with modern style.
The bed is comfortable and the room is very clean.
Fantastic hotel with great ambience, facilities, cozy room, view of the mountain and odori park, exceptionally helpful staffs, great breakfast and many more.
If I have to stay again in Sapporo, I will stay in Sapporo View Hotel
Clean, comfortable, has washer/dryer on 14th floor, convenient location for snow festival (across from Odori park) and also 1 stop to Susukino and Sapporo station. Hotel smells nice upon entering. Free water daily.
The location is very near to the Sapporo Train station. Very convenient to walk to Odori Park, Clock Tower and Daimasu to shop too. The room is spacious compared to hotels in Tokyo.
The location is superb, across with mega dongi which open 24hrs and 7eleven shop moreover near the airport bus liner to new chitose airport (S32: Abest hotel)
