Buffet breakfast was chaotic and crowded. Food was not replenished and presentation was unappealing. They ran out of soy sauce at the raw fish section.

Everything was close to everything, our hotel was like three minutes from the station. It was only 15 minutes to the mountain village where we saw cherry blossoms and a very nice zoo for 800 yen. It was a little bit cold and we were a few days late for the best cherry blossoms, but once we got settled it was a very nice 3 day visit. If you wanna eat good food for lunch you better do it before 2:00 PM because everything closes and then reopens at 5:00 PM. Nice restaurants we're closing by 8 PM. That was kind of strange.

I would love to go back and experience other seasons.
I would love to go back and experience other seasons. Our timing was a little off because the ski parks are closed, it's not snowing, but there are no flowers/sakura yet. I would like to experience more.

A place to experience snow and a different architecture from the rest of Japan.
I was curious (still I am) about details in the history of this region that makes it quite different from other cities down south of Japan. The landscapes are excellent. People are polite and so kind towards foreigners/ non-japanese speakers. The overall impression made me really want to extend my stay there, or at least come back to revisit the place very soon.
I am not into skiing but this should be a great place for that activity, too.

The wet, cold, and windy March weather made outdoor...
The wet, cold, and windy March weather made outdoor exploration less enjoyable, especially with the dirty snow on public walkways. However, I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast hunting at Nijo Market and exploring the lively Tanukikoji Shopping Street. Although I didn't spend much time at Odori Park due to the harsh conditions, I believe Sapporo is worth spending at least three nights to fully experience its culinary delights, shopping, and sights.
The LOCATION was its prime asset. Especially in winter, this was the best thing about our choice for this booking. The Higashi Honganji-Mae tram station was right beside it making movement around Sapporo very convenient. Walking to Susukino area was also a breeze. There was a Family Mart right across and a bigger Dinner Bell grocery at the adjacent corner. The winter view from the 6th floor was beautiful. For the New Year, the Higashi Hongan-ji Temple right across the property was ideal for the traditional bell-ringing ceremony, Joya no kane.
Wow, the Sapporo Grand Hotel certainly is GRAND. It's in an amazing location, walkable to Sapporo Station via an underground walkway or streets, and about 15 minute walk from central attractions, and it is BEAUTIFUL. The staff were wonderful and very helpful when we arrived early as well as when we needed to get to the airport but the highways were shut down due to a storm. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable, and it was wonderful having cafes and bars attached to the lobby. We would absolutely stay here again!
Overall, great hotel! Location is perfect, 5 minutes walking from the station and from Odori park. The room was very cosy, not as small as it can be, modern furnishing, nice bathroom and toilet. The staff are amazing, they even prepared a small origami present to greet us, which was the sweetest thing to see after a long flight from Europe. The onsen was great, and instructions in English were very handy cuz it was our first time ever to enjoy an onsen. Thank you very much, it was a very pleasant stay in Sapporo :)
FOR ME, I AM LUCKY TO HAVE THIS HOTEL
every time i am at Sapporo. It offers a sufficient quad room for my family.
they can clean your room everyday or swap it with free tokens (like drinks)
food is good, and since i go here on winter season, the Sapporo park is just beside.
train station is also in front, bus to airport is just across and 24/7 food mart (like lawson & family) are nearby.
tho it is not at the city center, train is just across and few minutes away
Breakfast was buffet style, good Japanese breakfast, one the better restaurants to eat. Location is right across the street from Daimaru store at Sapporo station, just a 5 minute walk to get there. Hotel staff was very polite and the room attendant was very accommodating when we needed to get back into the room.
Basement access via train station, head west till the end, glass doors on left will take you to basement of hotel.
Very convenient location with two subway stations nearby. Easy train access from the airport. Walking distance to the town centre. Excellent onsen. Adequate (not excellent) fitness centre. Comfortable, spacious twin bed room with good beds. Several restaurants in the hotel, the main one with a Spanish flavour, although many other choices nearby. Perfect for our recent trip to the Sapporo snow festival.
A well-appointed and comfortable large room on a high floor as requested.
Excellent value and friendly staff - a hotel we would recommend and choose to stay at again.
The subway station, parks, and convenience stores are within easy reach and Sapporo station is about a 30 minute walk away. With luggage we chose a taxi from and to the station which was about £10.
The onsen was awesome, i super love it! Free Hokkaido Vanilla ice cream after onsen. The location was good, walking distance to Sapporo station and Odori Park. Toiletries, yukata, bottled water, small snacks were provided in the room. I really loved my stay here. The staff were helpful when i forgot my key inside. I liked the smell of the hotel, very refreshing.
It was our 2nd time to stay at Sapporo Park Hotel... We always love looking outside and seeing the beautiful Nakajima Park especially in winter. It's just magical. Train station/subway is just 50m away. Very convenient to go around. Amenities in the room is complete, hotel and staff are always courteous and friendly. Would love to come back for the third time :)
This hotel is just 2 blocks away from Odori TV tower. Odors subway Station is just around another bloçk. Nijo fish market is just a block away, covered walking street too. Just a short is the Odori park, Sapporo snow festival, snow carving exhibition. Susukino ice carving exhibition is also a short walk . Perfect location to enjoy Sapporo.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tmark City Hotel Sapporo Odori. Staff were kind and helpful, lobby was clean and modern. Breakfast had a good selection and always had available seating. Rooms were a good size and beds were comfy enough. Room was clean and had a lovely view. Great location close to Odori Park and transport options.
Great hotel for stays in Sapporo - the location is particularly amazing, only a few minutes from Sapporo central station. In general this is a touch above the 'business traveller' hotels you will find all over Japan, with a bit more space in the rooms and more of a grand hotel feel.
Hotel is new, room is clean and considerable spacious for Japan. Not too far from Sapporo station. There is a convenient store right across the road. Breakfast was nice (love the pudding!). Free coffee/tea service in the afternoon till night. Public bath also available.
Great location! The hotel is about 5 minutes away from Sapporo Station. Lawson was just across the hotel and a good restaurant was just beside it.
The winner though was the staff who was always gracious and helpful especially with our luggage transfers to Osaka.
Liked the spacious rooms with a Lawson located across the street.
The Airport Bus stop from Chinose located right in front of the hotel was very convenient especially when snow blanketed Sapporo. The Airport Bus stop to Chinose is located just across the hotel.
Strategic place. Mercure Saporro located at the heart of cool town and its near to train station. Its just 5 mins walk. Mc Donalds is right infront infront which u can just cross over. The best and wise place to stay when u visit Saporro❤️
Great location, only a few minutes to Sapporo station and a couple of minutes to Odori-park. Hotel is quite modern and very clean, well maintained. Check in was smooth hassle-free.
Prefect location, underground walkway to Odori station and Sapporo station. Room come with a great view of the Sapporo TV tower and Odori Park. Hotel come with coin washing machine.
10/10 perfection. Super spacious room, grand bath, nice decor with best design ideas I’ve ever experienced in Japan. Definitely gonna stay here again next time travel to Sapporo.
we loved that it got cleaned every single day. loved how close it was to Sapporo station (5-10 min walk) and there was a family mart right across the street.
