It was a good location. Near to the main shopping area, good to access downtown. Reasonable price for a one person station. Relatively large room for Japan.

Location was good, 10 minute walk from Hiroshima Station, or to the bus stop which we used the most. Pleasant location near the river so the walks were enjoyable. Staff didn't have much English but were very friendly.

This is a city of great historical importance and I felt humbled by the way the people of Japan and citizens of Hiroshima have rebuilt this city devastated by nuclear bomb. It was deeply painful to visit The Hall of Remembrance and see and hear a choir of school children singing near Children's Peace Monument. Those who are rattling nuclear sabres today should remember Hiroshima. Despite painful history people of this city are wonderful. Anywhone visiting Japan should see Hiroshima.

Hiroshima is a great city.
Hiroshima is a great city. The peace park and museum were very touching. It is incredible to see how the city has been rebuilt and is thriving. The day trip to Miyajima island is a must with a hike to Mt. Misen and seeing Otorii shrine.

Hiroshima is a thriving city now, which we were glad to see.
Hiroshima is a thriving city now, which we were glad to see. We walked around on our own one afternoon and had an excellent (and moving) local tour of the Peace Park and related memorials the next morning. For lunch we had a delicious local Okonomiyaki. For dinner we tried oysters done in five different preparations, as it is another specialty of the area. (They are quite large, however, and not our favorite.)
We never got to the castle or gardens, and did not visit Miyajima, which is why I would have liked one more night. But it was enough time for the basics. We would recommend that everyone take the time to visit Hiroshima. It is part of our collective history and essential now to understand the dangers we all face in today's volatile world.

We were independent travellers.
We were independent travellers. Hiroshima was easily accessible by public transport especially with the 'Free' JR pass hop on hop off bus. 3 separate circuits gave us plenty of choice. The 'Peace Park' precinct was a great focus for a day or even two.

Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Park/ Museum and Miyajima were the highlights of the trip to Hiroshima,
Food for vegetarians is a bit of a challenge in Hiroshima; Margherita from Pizza Hut was atrocious.
Getting around is easy with good public transport.
Would avoid a budget hotel like Apa in future.
Great business hotel walking distance to Peace Museum, shopping and dining out.
Great 24hr laundromat opposite the hotel that is cheaper with faster turnover of clean laundry. I only investigated this laundromat after 3 cycles of the dryer at the hotel on my first night.
Very pleasant, convenience & modernity you would expect of a smart business hotel. Great value for money. We went to Kumano Kodo area after Hiroshima and thought how much we missed good value hotels in bigger cities.
The hotel is located perfectly to see everything in Hiroshima, from the Peace Memorial Museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome to Hiroshima Castle and the shopping areas, and is very well connected by tramway. On top of that, there's a convenience store right besides the entrance of the hotel. The hotel staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about how to get around and what to see as well. Finally, the room is small but it had everything I needed to enjoy my stay at Hiroshima.
The hotel has the perfect location if you are in Hiroshima for sightseeing at it lies just across the river from the Hiroshima Peace Park as the name suggests. You can take your time and walk through the park as well as all the way to Hiroshima Castle which is just about 15 min walk further. The restaurant at the top offers outstanding views, the staff is friendly and the food is amazing. I can also recommend the bar at the ground floor!
The location is the best to view the Hiroshima memorials, including a view of the Atomic Dome outside of our room window. We could easily walk to all the important places. The people in the hotel helped us with everything, including how to travel to the ferry to Miyajima, securing a taxi the day we left for the train station, and even mailing our postcards on the morning we left. You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay here.
The location is within walking distance to the Atomic Bomb Memorial, and Honduri shopping street with plenty of shops and eateries. Traveling from Hiroshima train station to the hotel has a bus service with a bus stop almost right in front of the hotel. The staff are very helpful, polite and professional. The breakfast at 25th floor has a good variety of food especially the Japanese selection, and a fantastic view of the city.
We booked Mitsui Garden Hotel as it was located very centrally and looked clean with decent enough services. What we got though exceeded our expectations greatly. The staff who helped us check in on our first night were extremely helpful and friendly, and the views, overall service and cleanliness were all amazing. I will definitely be staying here again if and when I return to Hiroshima.
This is a cute little hotel that gives the vibe of a small Japanese apartment. It includes a fridge, stove and cooking materials. There was a lot of space along with tatami mats, my favorite! They also offer breakfast, which is a noodle salad with a light sauce. The hotel is a less than 10 minute walk from Hiroshima station located in a quite neighborhood next to a school.
Very comfy and location is convenient to the Hiroshima Station as it is about a 10 minute walk. The staff are very friendly and will help you with any questions you may have . Rooms are very clean and this was one of the best hotels we had stayed in during our trip to Japan.
Room was spacious, modern, clean and with a great view on the river (as the hotel name says). The facility is modern and welcoming, staff was kind and I could check-in early without paying an additional fee. It's very close to Hiroshima Station (about 7-8 min walking).
Beautiful views in all directions. Ferry to Miyajima island stops at hotel - very convenient. Excellent buffet dinner on 28th floor. Only drawback is transportation to and from downtown Hiroshima- wait for hotel shuttle, public bus or taxi (about 3000yen).
Friendly staff, comfortable room, great amenities and rooftop bar! Price was reasonable and included breakfast! I liked that it was close to the Hiroshima Peace Park and downtown. I also liked that the hotel had guest laundry services!
This is a great hotel with really friendly staff.
It’s spotlessly clean with great amenities and in a perfect location for getting around Hiroshima.
I enjoyed my stay here and will stay again when I return.
Thank you.
Amazing location, the place to stay in Hiroshima. Lovely guest services like washing and communal places to sit outside of your room. Amazing shower and bathroom facilities. Overall such a pleasant and cool hotel
Everything is perfect and I definitely choose this hotel when I go to Hiroshima again!
The price is great, facilities are awesome and the staffs are kind. The best hotel I have been to Japan!
The location of the hotel is excellent - virtually adjoining Hiroshima Station. The staff were all very friendly, polite and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton.
The hotel is amazing, so is the location. (very close to the emblematic site of Hiroshima)
The staff is so friendly and nice
striking views from the 14th floor rooftop bar
