What a beautiful city and surrounding areas.
What a beautiful city and surrounding areas. So much to see and do, much of it just a short drive away - for instance, seeing the Black Madonna at Oropa, visiting the mediaeval castle in the city, eating the best ice cream I've ever had in the gelaterie next to the tourist office ... I answered above that the length of stay was just right, but with half decent weather my stay would have needed to be longer as there are quite a few things to see and the area has beautiful nature ideal for walking.

It was cosy and homely and had everything we needed. The meal in their restaurant just next to was superb. We were in Italy for 2 weeks and it was up there in the Top 3 best restaurants!
