We visited the fort which was a very informative piece of history. We walked down the oldest street with the beautiful canopy of trees near the Fountain of Youth attraction. The peacocks walking around the grounds were very nice to see. We walked through the Old Jail attraction area and visited a delightful tea shop. Walking through the Old Town there were a lot of choices of restaurants and several had live music. We ate at a wonderful family owned restaurant named "Raintree" that was located a short distance from the old town. The Spanish architecture gives you that colonial feel that takes you back in time. St.Augustine had a lot of history and charm. A lot of variety of things to see and do. A lot of the activities cost so it can add up quickly so we just picked a couple of attractions and hung out on St. George street.

Many of the sites were in or adjacent to the old city which made it convenient to do several things. We took a ghost tour and learned about the history of the city. My daughter and I enjoyed the shops on St. George while my husband toured the fort. He said it was very interesting. We ate at Mojo’s barbecue which was very good and finished our trip visiting the lighthouse. Loved it! We loved St Augustine!
We loved St Augustine! From the history of the City to the beaches on the coastline. Our favorite times were on a romantic Sunset cruise and the awe inspiring church tour. One must eat at DJ's Clam Shack! Great seafood! St George St is must with its little shops, museums and eateries. Wear comfortable shoes when you go because parking is limited but you'll find its worth the walk!CConnieUnited States of America

The staff member Brittany got us an Anniversary Card, a box of chocolates and 2 free drinks! This was above and beyond and so very sweet! Just a perfect stay and an incredible Anniversary weekend! Free parking right behind the house. You open both the hotel and room doors with code, that makes it very easy as you don´t have to care, where you have just put your bloody plastic card :D. Historic downtown is within walking distance, which is great. We stayed here a night, but if we had more time, we´d definitely stay at least one more.
