Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. I don’t know from where I should start, the staff were extremely helpful, nice very friendly and professional. We booked room with onsen with fuji Mountain View which was a heavenly view! I would go back again for sure!

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were able to get a shuttle to/from the station that suited our timetable and also a ride to the doorway. The food was beautiful and delicious, we always looked forward to our meals. Great view of Mt Fuji and the location was very close to some great photo spots so you could roll out of bed to capture the sunrise over the mountain. Would highly recommend this place!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Staff, location and vibe were amazing. Highly recommend. A really layed back set up, but with all the comforts you need. Suggest stopping to get a fresh lobster and request the BBQ from the staff, was so good.

Located in Oshino and only 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland, 八海 木花館 provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The location and the view of Mt Fuji at the property was just spectacular. The food and service was impeccable. Nina Lin was sharing with us all the great spots to take photos of Mt Fuji and we really enjoyed our conversations with her. The other older lady was very helpful and hospitable as well and we can't praise them enough for making our stay so memorable!

Located in Fujikawaguchiko and only 1.5 km from Lake Kawaguchi, Ryokan Fuji Heights provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. A hot tub is available for guests. The host was incredibly sweet and accommodating, with lots of knowledge of the local area, including the best spots to take photos of Fuji. He gave us complimentary tea/coffee and snacks in our room, and kindly offered to drive us to the station after we checked out. Traditional atmospheric ryokan (room had a cozy kotatsu).

Boasting mountain views, Private Hotel Rei features accommodation with terrace, around 7.1 km from Lake Kawaguchi. Yoshi, was the best host who went out of his way with his pleasing smile to take care of my mother and me. We had trouble hiring a car and he actually drive us to the car rentals and tried to help us.

Located just a minute's walk from Kawaguchiko Lake, Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel offers accommodation in Fujikawaguchiko, near Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge. Well located with an amazing view for the Mt Fuji, this property exceeded my expectations. The hospitality of the owner as well as the staff makes you feel so comfortable and welcomed. The rooms and the other facilities in the property are well cleaned and of great quality.

Boasting a beautiful Japanese garden, Teiensaryo Yamanakako is located just a 2-minute walk from Fujikyu Asahioka Bus Terminal in Yamanakako. Free WiFi access is available in the public area. The property is beautiful, with a real homely feel. You feel as if you’re visiting friends! The rooms are traditional, comfortable and clean with lovely yukatas and jackets to use around the facility. The food is wonderful! Such huge attention to detail. As westerners, we had to go into the meals with an open mind but everything was delicious and the lovely host helped us with some videos on how to eat certain things. The staff are incredible, they’re so kind. We had some problems with our bags being left behind in the UK and the lovely host couldn’t have been more helpful with the problem. He so suggested plenty of things to do in the area that we hadn’t heard of. So great!!

Situated just a 1-minute walk from picturesque Lake Kawaguchi, Ichifujiso is cosy accommodation with Japanese-style rooms and public baths. Meals feature fresh home-grown vegetables. Everything was amazing in this place. Very traditional Japanese house and all the amenities are great! You have to try the ofuro… magnificent!!! The hosts are an old and very sweet couple! They’re super kind and amazing people. Please don’t hesitate to come here is absolutely worth it!!!
