Situated just 38 km from Kishi Station, 高野山 宿坊 普門院 -Koyasan Shukubo Fumonin- features accommodation in Koyasan with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a lift. This is the best value for memories that we have experienced so far in Japan. From the moment you enter: the guidelines are clear but kind, the staff are welcoming, and the peacefulness surrounds you. If you're physically able, we recommend booking one of the traditional tatami mat rooms for a fuller experience. The food leaves you feeling full but not heavy as it's vegetarian. The whole space is very clean. Certainly get to the main hall early in the morning for a calm beginning to observing the monks' morning sutras. They will hold luggage pre and post check in/out, so explore the town of Koya San. The nearby temples and especially the cemetery warrant about 1 hour each to fully experience them. The Yukata traditional loungewear they provide may (and is encouraged to) be worn everywhere except morning prayers. The onsen within the building is open after dinner until ~9pm. Check it out. Make sure to wash yourself within the onsen room before entering. Lastly, read the information they provide to you the day before your check in so that you are prepared and respectful.

Situated in Koyasan in the Wakayama region, 宿坊 光明院 features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Everyone there was wonderful, willing to help even with the language barrier. The dinner and breakfast were delicious (if you stay more than one night, note that you'll eat the same dinner and breakfast) The room and all the temple was super clean and calm. It was a great place to stay! I really love the ceremonies that I could witness, meditation in the evening, morning ceremony and goma ceremony (fire ceremony). The one thing I was surprised by is that the showers are "Onsen Showers" so it's in a commun room, with little stools where you can clean yourself before entering the bath. Not a negative point, just something I wasn't expecting. Thanks to all the staff there for a wonderful stay!

清浄心院 is situated in Koyasan, 39 km from Kishi Station, 45 km from Matsushita Park, and 45 km from Itakiso Shrine. It is set 39 km from Tama Museum and features full-day security. Nice atmosphere, welcoming host, beautiful temple grounds. The room was lovely and the heater in the room worked very well. We got a window view of the street as it was snowing, so it felt magical. Very close to the cemetery.

Shirahama'da, Shirahama Plajı'na 200 metre ve Ezura Plajı'na 1,2 km mesafede yer alan Shirahama no Yado Daigo, tesis genelinde ücretsiz Wi-Fi erişimi sunmaktadır. The owner of the hotel was really kind and did her very best to help us with all our preparations for hiking the kumano kodo trail. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is located right near the beach and nice restaurants and cafes.

Tanabe'de, Hosshinmon Oji Tapınağı'na sadece 12 km mesafede konaklama olanağı sunan Minshuku Sumiya'da açık hava banyosu, bar ve temizlik hizmeti mevcuttur. Host is very frindly and nice place very clean place good taste dinner and braekfast. If you plan to travel around koyasan area this place is good for you because this location is perfect.
