Lo Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in occupa un tempio buddista millenario che offre sistemazioni in stile giapponese, uno splendido giardino e, gratuitamente, il WiFi e la possibilità di partecipare alle... Once in a lifetime experience. the activities such as fire ritual, meditation and morning service, night tour are really impressive. Dinner experience also exceeds our expectation. highly recommend this to all who is interested in culture, buddhism and Japan tourism.

Esperienza fantastica in un tempio buddista, assolutamente da provare almeno una volta nella vita. Il monaco della reception sempre sorridente e gentile. Cena e colazione abbondanti a base di verdure e cibo vegano.

Situato a Koyasan, a 38 km dal Museo Tama, il Koyasan Shukubo Fumonin offre un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito e un salone in comune. This is the best value for memories that we have experienced so far in Japan. From the moment you enter: the guidelines are clear but kind, the staff are welcoming, and the peacefulness surrounds you. If you're physically able, we recommend booking one of the traditional tatami mat rooms for a fuller experience. The food leaves you feeling full but not heavy as it's vegetarian. The whole space is very clean. Certainly get to the main hall early in the morning for a calm beginning to observing the monks' morning sutras. They will hold luggage pre and post check in/out, so explore the town of Koya San. The nearby temples and especially the cemetery warrant about 1 hour each to fully experience them. The Yukata traditional loungewear they provide may (and is encouraged to) be worn everywhere except morning prayers. The onsen within the building is open after dinner until ~9pm. Check it out. Make sure to wash yourself within the onsen room before entering. Lastly, read the information they provide to you the day before your check in so that you are prepared and respectful.

Situated in Koyasan in the Wakayama region, 宿坊 光明院 features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Dinner had so many vegan dishes and they were delicious. Breakfast was smaller but still filling. It won't be a western breakfast. The futon ended up being comfy and warm but the halls were cold in the morning. I suggest arriving at the start of check in to take full advantage of everything there is (enjoying the pond, onsen, tea in room while reading the info on ceremonies). Location was great for the big 3 sites, if you don't mind walk 20 minutes in either direction.

清浄心院 is situated in Koyasan, 39 km from Kishi Station, 45 km from Matsushita Park, and 45 km from Itakiso Shrine. It is set 39 km from Tama Museum and features full-day security. Nice atmosphere, welcoming host, beautiful temple grounds. The room was lovely and the heater in the room worked very well. We got a window view of the street as it was snowing, so it felt magical. Very close to the cemetery.

The owner of the hotel was really kind and did her very best to help us with all our preparations for hiking the kumano kodo trail. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is located right near the beach and nice restaurants and cafes.

Tutto, è stato tutto perfetto, uno dei posti più belli in cui io sia stata. L’accoglienza, l’ambiente, il cibo, la stanza con vista giardino. Tutto impeccabile, io ho anche partecipato alla meditazione delle 17:00 e ai canti dei sutra alla mattina alle 6:00, un esperienza unica.

Host is very frindly and nice place very clean place good taste dinner and braekfast. If you plan to travel around koyasan area this place is good for you because this location is perfect.
