Great breakfast was provided, and the staff are super nice even if there's a language barrier. It's a bit of a distance from the Onsen town but the staff picked us up from the train station and brought us to the hotel, then dropped us back off at the Onsen town with a pickup time and location to meet them when it was time to leave. They even loaned us umbrellas due to the rain. If you're on a budget but want to go to Kinosakionsen town and have a nice stay you can't do much better than this

城崎温泉 旅館 つばき乃 - Kinosaki Onsen Ryokan Tsubakino อยู่ในโทโยคะ ห่างจาก Kinumaki Shrine 2.6 กม. Staying at the ryokan for two nights felt like a dream, the meals were all delicious, the private bath amazing, and the staff very kind. The room looked even better than in the pictures!

From parking our car, helping us choose a Yukata, giving advice for dinner options outside the ryokan to taking very professional photos of us in and around the inn in our Yukatas. He really wanted us to have the best time possible and we did. Our room was spacious. The inn had 2 baths (one indoor cave bath and one outdoor stone bath. You can use them privately in the afternoon and evening and they are public in the morning). Around check-in time you can also have a short tea ceremony, held by the manager's mother. My friends and I loved having that experience. Additionally you receive an Onsen pass, which you can use in all 7 bath houses in Kinosaki Onsen. It's valid until check-out day 3.30pm.

Located in the quiet areas of Kinosaki hot-spring district, Sensui offers Japanese-style accommodations and 3 private reservable hot-spring baths. The room was big and it had 3 private onsen you could borrow. You get yukata to borrow.

Amazing hotel, specially the staff! Extremely helpful! The dinner was delicious, and the onsen in the hotel is great as well! They really make it easy to explore and enjoy kinosaki.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, really central location, onsen pass as well as private onsen we’re awesome, meal was delicious! Loved our stay

Onishiya Suisyouen มีห้องอาบน้ำพุร้อนที่สวยงาม ซาวน่า และสวนญี่ปุ่นริมแม่น้ำ Maruyama River ผู้เข้าพักที่ Onishiya Suisyouen Ryokan... The hotel was beautiful. It centres around this lovely garden with koi carp in that in the evenings there's a projector on with a bit of a light display The staff were absolutely head of heels to help you. 10/10. They really can't do enough for you. The shuttle service into town was a life saver! Especially with those funky flip flops they have you wearing! The room was the biggest we had in our whole Japan trip for sure. Spacious and comfy and clean. We opted for the japanese experience of sleeping on the thin roll out mattress on the floor but it was a lot less comfortable than I expected. Nothing to do with them though, I asked for it and didn't like it
