Shared toilet could be better.

Location: Amazing, in front of the majestic Zambezi River. Breakfast: Good breakfast Room: I stayed in a tent, which wasn't bad, but the problem is the shared toilet, that could be better.

It's really noisy in the area with the set up tents as they are really close to each other. We'd been camping for 10 days through botswana and Zambia already so it's not like we weren't used to camping but people were partying for hours and staff were out and about chatting really early. I wouldn't reccomend the tents if you wanted a chilled relaxing time.

The location was great. Right on the Zambezi with a fantastic view. The restaurant had really great food and drinks and the staff were super helpful. We stayed in a tent which was very clean with comfy beds and it was a great place to relax by the pool.

I lived in the tent option. The price corresponded to the quality. It took 20 minutes to walk to the big road. But in season it is dangerous to walk there because of the animals.

It’s quite old and rustic, needs a bit of TLC, the grounds are full of trees but all quite overgrown. However this provides a lot of privacy for the chalets.

Location was good, excellent staff, comfortable, good food and service.

We booked a river view, I think it was over priced. There are trees and boats which interrupt to see the view from the room. It wasn't worth to pay extra price for view.

The restaurant has a beautiful view and good food. sunset time is great. We will back here again, but won't take river view room anymore 😔

The location is outside of the city centre and very close to Victoria falls and you need to take a taxi to go everywhere which can be expensive. I like to walk around and explore and I was limited about that

The water was too limited for drinking and it was then controlled on how much you can take from the water tank after you are only given two bottles in the room. i think people need to be offered sufficient since also the place doesn't trust their own tap water. I am from outside the country to i cannot be going to town to get water only because the hotel is limiting us

I loved everything about my stay, the room was small for a couple. it was clean and the breakfast was properly done and satisfying. only the monekeys were a problem which it cant be controlled but over all everything was great.

A double bed in the family room would have been nice but it's also understandable. The bath does have a shower head, it's not the best but it works. A shower would have been nicer.

Staff are amazingly helpful. Location is so close, we loved it. They have an activities centre on site so you can organise days of fun! The room was big with an aircon and a fan, turndown was great and the bathroom was clean. Beautiful views and the pool was refreshing

A bit far out of Livingstone if you wanted to go elsewhere for the evening but taxis cheap.

Tents very comfortable, washroom facilities clean and plenty of hot water. Really good bar with brilliant staff. Breakfast was decent with lots of choice. Pool was good too.

Was a great relaxing experience,clean and friendly staff. Mosquitoes were a buzz but thanks to the sprays they provide. Very lovely place.

We had originally booked the tents which were like a sauna when we went to have a look on arrival. The ablutions were very basic and needs some work done in terms of upkeep and cleanliness. We upgraded to Adventure Rooms which were basic but we stayed comfortably. New matrassas may be in order. Although I am giving an honest review we loved staying here. It was the perfect accommodation for our African adventure.

We had a wonderful holiday at VFW. The staff were so attentive and helpful. The breakfast was decent and the lunch and dinner menu was good. We enjoyed sitting next to the river for meals which delivered the most beautiful sunsets. Will definitely be back. Also the garden and grounds were a particilar favourite and we could see that a lot of love goes into maintaining it.

Just a little more effort with maintaining making thise black wood clean .

It’s a nice and beautiful location . They need to maintain it better . The staff are very nice and always willing to accommodate us. One request they need to put a proper board sign to make it easy to see the way in . Other than that . Everything was fine .
