In summer the lack of Aircon makes it hard to sleep in certain rooms.

People are very friendly and it has a feel at home vibe. Peter is the best host you can dream.off

We would have appreciated a work station for our laptop that we use frequently on trips.

Suggest having a fridge for purchasing water/beer. Maybe more/new loungers by the pool.

Clean and cosy. Fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Lovely pool. Walkable distance into town. Good value for money. Free WiFi. Room had 2 fans which were needed as hot weather during our stay. Host Peter very friendly and accommodating, allowing me to extend my stay at the last minute.

The payment method was not convenient for us as we did not have a Paypal account or cash. It should have been communicated in advance that the preferred method is Paypal

Great relaxation spot away from the busy town life- perfect for relaxation and some quiet time.

Neither of the two rooms we slept in had any aircon. And the one fan in each room didn't really help at all. The room we stayed in the second night was very warm and stuffy, with no real ventilation.

We arrived quite a few hours later than we originally planned on arriving, becsuse of delays at the border. The night guard the evening we arrived was friendly and accommodating, helping us find our spot. Our first night was spent in a great room with a big bath in the bathroom and kitchen with a dining area. A great terrace with outside seating, and enough space. The swimming pool was fantastic, we met some nice people there too. The second night we were moved into a space much smaller than the first night. As Peter explained, this was the room we booked, but the previous nights guests decided to extend their stay. The images on Booking.com are quite misleading, as no room options were available during booking, but the images shown are for the larger rooms. We had a great stay and enjoyed chatting with Peter. Pote (our dog) also had fun meeting Biscuit. The location was amazing, within walking distance of everything. We loved that it was pet friendly.

We enjoyed everything during our stay here. The rooms were extremely clean and staff is very welcoming and the outdoor area(pool, braii stand) was very clean and relaxing as well. Definitely will always choose Butterfly apartments when in Livingstone. Superb accommodation and service! Thank you !

Came with friends for a 10 days kayaking on Zambezi. Very siutable also for the families. Butterfly was excellent - from host, personel, facility,... Also the pool is great to cool down in hot days. Really exceeded our expectations and great value.

No a/c in the room , although there was a large floor fan and a plug in type fan/mini cold unit , although it wasn't really effective. A comfortable chair would have been a bonus as would a hanging rail and a few coat hangers. The cupboards were ok , a little tired , but functional.

The staff here were awesome, you couldn't ask for a nicer bunch of people. They were always polite and extremely friendly and professional and couldn't do enough for you. My room was pretty good, the bed was comfortable, a mosquito net was provided, the shower was good , the bathroom was spacious as was the living area.

met peter with the keys upon arrival, he actually upgraded us for free as the apartment with kitchen & bath combined was empty. he then took us out for local food and to a supermarket to get supplies for breakfast etc. there is a bar/restaurant within walking distance, i guess town is within walking distance too but at 38 degree heat we chose to use taxis. the actual location is very discreet and some taxi drivers don't know of it, so best to use road names to locate once you are familiar. biscuit the dog is very friendly and will greet you whenever you come back into the apartment. the pool is huge too. great budget option for Livingstone, especially with the ShopRite where you can buy cheap supplies. the upgraded room we had, had a full oven and kitchenette to cook anything and everything.
