Right in the heart of Port Villa,near shops and banks and market. Beautiful location overlooking the harbour. Great size balcony. Rooms have been renovated and modern. View is breath taking at night and during the day. We paid for buffet breakfast which is good value.

As always the staff are exceptional .Again as always the roads in and around the Grand for older people are sometimes difficult to navigate I can only suppose in time the problem will be resolved.

The wifi wasn’t great, the hotel smelled of cigarettes all day. Our room and bed head faced a nightclub that didn’t close until 3am and that was awful

The place was very run down and part of it was being refurbished causing some noise. There was lack of toiletries and no bottled water

It was in centre of Port Vila and next to the market, but there was not a lot of interest.

Expensive for what it was, old and dated, disruptions due to ongoing maintenance works, wifi was crap

Breakfast was included and had great choice, location is excellent - right on the edge of downtown and walking distance to shops and Central Market

Our room needed a makeover; lots of disruptions due to ongoing work in the hotel; sliding balcony doors are too heavy; if you're going to pay for the premium room ask for the ones closest to Iririki Island; meals in restaurant were overpriced as were drinks at bar; casino was small and very smoky.

Location was excellent, right on the edge of downtown; too expensive for what you got; next door to free ferry to Iririki Island. Staff were very helpful.

We ended up on a smoking floor with a room that had mini child size beds. It was a booking made several months prior to travel. So not a last minute thing. The doors between us and the adjoining room were both unlocked. We had a TV but no remote control. It was a disappointing start to our return trip to Vanuatu. A country that my sister and I had lived in with our parents from 1977 for 13 years.

The location is perfect and in the middle of town. The breakfast was also good.

It’s overpriced for what it is. The room is small, our 2 single beds very narrow (albeit very comfy). It fulfils its function but I wouldn’t want to stay nor Ethan 1-2 nights

It is an extremely shabby, quite ugly and dirty place -- do not expect basic global standards here.

The hotel is right on the waterfront and the rest of Port Vila is a walkable distance.

Breakfast not enough variety, dinner meals not tasty. Everyone was disappointed. Men’s toilet & doors were disgustingly filthy. Should be cleaned.

Unfortunately there was an incident the day before I checked out. The cleaning staff and their manager Dora would not give me soap because the cleaner Evelyn went through my draws and found soap I collect to donate to the locals. It is a breach of my privacy but according to Dora and Evelyn it is the policy of this hotel to check my draws where I had my personal belongings!! I was questioned if I had soap in my draws by six of them at the reception when I requested more soap!! Very low and poor customer service and I definitely will not return to this hotel
