Shower wouldn't stop dripping but eventually did stop. We were told not to leave anything on the balcony of this downstairs room as kids nearby were likely to take things. That made it harder to dry snorkeling and swimming gear.

A couple of minor maintenance issues but they were immediately fixed. The place is well maintained. No complaints.

Very comfortable. Soft but firm mattresses, aircon, sea facing, good bathroom and all the basics for cooking. Free use of kayaks and paddle boards, very close to town.

room was a bit dark and tv didn’t work. No mossies net in the rooms or scream on the doors in the main bedroom. Got munched on by Mossies.

Location. There was a party across the road at night which was very loud went til about 5am. The photos of this place don't really look like what it is in real life, it is very very old. I think it is overpriced for what and where it is.

We had a two bedroom and the second bedroom was nice. i like it had kitchen facilities outside the room if we needed them.

The location made it close to local restaurants. It was quiet, right on the water with great views. It felt like being in Vanuatu with the locals fishing, kids swimming and people laying right out front of our balcony. It was extremely clean. The wifi was very good.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff and stay at Fatumaru! Our flights were disrupted from the get go. The staff were so accommodating and kind. Timothy and his staff in the reception area have gone above and beyond for our stay and we will, without a shadow of a doubt, be back to stay again. Close to shops and the City Centre. Kayaking and clean facilities. Do yourself a favour, this is the place to stay!!!

The room was set out beautifully, with a handwritten note welcoming us on our honeymoon! The facilities are amazing, quite modern, very clean and our room had a great little balcony overlooking the ocean. We were only staying one night as our flight for Santo left the next morning but we wished we could've spent more time at Fatumaru Lodge! The location is excellent, great food options only a 5-10 minute walk away and a short drive from the airport. Our transfers were arranged for us and the process was seamless. The staff were very helpful and kind. We will %100 be back!!

very steep and long walk up to the road. A long walk to anywhere to get any food or to town. room only had wooden shutters (no windows), so if you didn't want the bugs in you had to shut the shutters, which then felt like you were in a dungeon and dark. Also if you wanted air con to work, you needed to shut everything, and again, middle of day, you are shut up in the dark, so couldn't enjoy the view with the shutters closed. Would be much better with windows. No couch to sit on, so had to sit on bed all the time. Locals constantly right in front of our unit digging up things in the water, and staring in at us sitting on our bed, and kids playing there also.

View was beautiful, got to see the cruise ships coming and going and right on the water. Staff were lovely.

I would not change anything about Fatamaru.

I stayed in a studio water front room. This was the fourth time I have stayed at Fatamaru. The accommodation is always clean and tidy. The rooms are beautiful and the premises is generally very quiet which is lovely. The staff always provide an exceptional service. Jennifer, Andrew, Moses, and Monique made my stay absolutely wonderful. Cant wait to return :)

Perfectly, positioned for travelling in and out of the main town. Restaurants and other amenities within walking distance. We stayed in the penthouse which had ample room for our family. We spent lots of time on the balcony enjoying the view over the bay. The staff were friendly and happy to accommodate our needs. We did have trouble with the shower on one occasion but after asking the staff the hot water system just needed the battery changed. Highly recommended Fatumaru Lodge.

The lodge was great and the room was super comfortable. Family with 3 kids and had a great time! Breakfast by the pool was awesome and the staff was very helpful and accomodating. Definitely exceeded our expectations!

Can't really think of anything we didn't like but if i have to suggest one thing it's that we would have liked some way of keeping the bifold doors that open onto the balcony, and to the beautiful view, open without letting the bugs in. Maybe a retractable fly screen. To be honest, this is just nit picking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The staff were so helpful, very warm and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a gorgeous view of the bay. The facilities provided enough to entertain our 8yo as well as ourselves and also provided plenty of opportunities to just relax. The location was wonderful. Not right in the city but close enough to amenities and had a stunning spot on the waterfront so we could enjoy the beautiful bay and soak in the gorgeous view.

It was our second time staying at Port Vila, because i had such a good experience in Janessa’s place, everything there was worse even though the price was two times higher. Also, as soon as i get in, there was a cockroach and i had to call the manager to take it out.

Towels were sometimes provided in pool area and there was no vent in the bathroom so it did get a bit slippery but dried fairly quickly.

Fatumaru Lodge is in a beautiful, quiet spot close to town. The staff are so welcoming and so willing to help in any way. The room was perfect - very clean and had spectacular views! Really loved how we could open the doors and enjoy the water views and breeze from the bed. We also enjoyed watching the crabs scatter around the sand from our balcony! My husband had a spectacular time using the kayak and paddleboard. The staff were also so understanding and kind enough to refund one night due to flight cancellations and rescheduling. Totally opposite to the first resort we stayed at where we missed out on the first 2 nights when our flight to Port Vila was cancelled. I'm so grateful to the Fatumaru staff for being so kind and welcoming. Another fantastic thing about the place is the breakfast - so simple yet very healthy and filling. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. We would definitely come back here again and bring our extended family!
