No one was around and the place seemed a bit deserted. Pool was dark green with algae and grounds could use some TLC. The middle of my bathroom had white paint spattered across the tile. It would not take much to scrape it off and maybe reseal. I don’t usually complain about such things but for $200/night you expect a really nice place. After several recommendations from friends, I was a little disappointed. I was working and had to leave at 730 every morning, so did not get to try breakfast, which started at 8.

Sweet old property with interesting architecture. Very close to boardwalk and seaplane. Room was clean and comfortable, and Wi-Fi, AC, hot water all worked great.

Nothing really. The guidelines are clear, so you know what to expect as far as room cleaning etc.

Natalie, the property manager, is a national treasure! We experienced great service and timely responses to questions. Will absolutely stay here again in the future.

I didn’t liked the missing closet space to hang clothings and the soap dispensers didn’t worked well. maybe it’s time to replace them and very important, identify which of the two is soap and shampoo, aside from that, everything else was great.

I liked the breakfast service and the charming surroundings. loved that I could make coffee in the room yet I missed having a closet. but everything else was great, it was quiet, near the restaurants, loved the pool and the tortoise garden.

Some local revelers outside were playing mega-loud thumping music at 3am, but it was Labor Day weekend, people are out having fun. Other reviews have complained of roosters crowing outside, and that is true, but seriously, people are bothered by roosters?

Well-situated to restaurants & bars in Christiansted. It's a really small town, easily walkable. Super friendly owner, Natalie, who's ready with advice about the island and (vegan) breakfast. Lovely courtyard with a pool and mango trees bearing tons of fruit - you like mangos? They will literally fall into your lap. In the low season, I had the place to myself for an entire weekend.

The bathroom in the bedroom couldn't close, which may be ok for a couple but didn't really work out for two friends.

The staff was incredibly friendly and incredibly helpful. Natalie and her vegan breakfast were just outstanding. The cinnamon rolls are everything. Easy access to the boardwalk and the main part of town.

There was no hot water the first night. Though after we communicated with the owner, it was fixed. We booked a two double bed room, the 3rd room of the main house. One of the bed was extremely squeaky, waking up almost everybody else if one gets up in the middle of the night.

Vegan breakfast was good, with decent selections. Staff was friendly. Nice pool for the kids to have fun.

Our room (number 1) was nice but did not have a window that could be opened, so it was dark and did not have much fresh air unless we opened the door (and invited the mosquitoes in). The bed needs a huge upgrade, we had a very noisy and not very comfortable full size bed. Linens were clean but towels were stained. After 7 days, it got musty in the room and we were happy to leave.

Natalie was running the place with grace. She had a continental BKF ready for us every day and was a pleasure to talk to. Location is great, steps from the Seaplane and boardwalk. We enjoyed walking around town there.

The walk to the boardwalk does require crossing a somewhat busy traffic area so just caution for families with young kids. The breakfast provided wasn't very substantial and was the same each morning. Breads, instant oatmeal and fruit. It works for some mornings but wasn't a bed and breakfast type style spread. Homemade vegan muffins were delicious though!

Great location only a few minutes walk away from boardwalk so east access to lots of bars and restaurants. Courtyard pool was convenient for families with kids. Room was clean and large. Staff super friendly and helpful!
