No food on site while I was there was challenging upon arrival after a very long trip. Shower was cold/no bathtub. There was no functional pool and facilities were old and run down.

Cool location, nice beach, good view from balcony, staff was pleasant. Coffee maker/fridge/microwave/dishes in the room. Pretty quiet spot.

The building is old and should be modified to accommodate modern times. Since there is no elevator a ramp should be built on half of the stairs so guests wouldn’t have to lug their suitcases up flights of stairs. There could be outlets put near the bedside table.

I liked the fact that it was on the beach - literally! The staff was extremely friendly, accommodating, welcoming, helpful, supportive and engaging.

The property can use some renovations (which is coming). The rooms are very outdated.

The staff were awesome. They listened and addressed all concerns. Being steps away from the beach is one of the best parts of this hotel and just a boat ride from the boardwalk that is filled with entertainment.

The fact that they advertise a pool and it is not operational and doesn't look like it has been for some time. I think I should be compensated in some way for that.

This is a very laid back place. It is out dated and needs painting and the pool is not working but over all all of the guests and staff were very friendly. Great Vaca.

This is the only beach in Christiansted so it’s a no brainer to stay here! The views are nice and the room has everything you could need.

It was very noisy early in the morning. Between the Roosters, cars, trucks and doors slamming, sleeping in just wasn't in the cards.

Room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The view was great and the ac worked well.

The old smell in the room. The hotel room was very old and I could not stay but 2 days out of four and then I had to check out and go to the king hotel which they owned as well. Much better. I lost money because I could not get a refund for the days I didn’t stay.

EVERYTHIING WAS GREAT EXCEPT THE ROOM AIR CONDITIONING. IT QUIT WORKING ON TUESDAY AND WE WERE WITHOUT IT FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK THIS WAS ROOM 207 WHICH WAS A TRANSFER ROOM FROM THE UNIT WEEK WE OWN, 305/25 THE ROOM THAT WAS RENTED WAS GREAT. THAT WAS 303

THE VERANDA AT THE TOP OF THE HILL. SO QUIET IN THE EVENING, WITHA GOOD BREEZE BLOWING ACROSS IT.

Cathy the manager, poor customer service skills. No pool.....but then it hasn't worked for over 7 yrs I think, so not really surprised. Booked at one rate thru booking.com, but they tried to charge us a higher rate on arrival. Because we had documentation, it was fixed, but was a considerable difference, and if we weren't wise to it, would have cost us a lot more.

Cruzan staff excellent throughout the place. All very pleasant. Launch drivers great as well. Great location on the beach, and close to downtown and shopping/restaurants. Nice band playing on Mother's Day, free, great family type music. Free laundry facilities for guests after 4 pm.

Room was unlocked when I got there. No coffee in my room. House keeping ever 3 days. Wasn’t told till my last day that we could have been using the pool at the other hotel owned by the same people. Sense the one at stayed at was closed.

It was really just little things like not being able to get any larger bills broken when you needed to tip the boat captain as he took you back and forth to the mainland. We also found out on our last night there that they also own the King Christian Hotel and that we were allowed to swim in the pool there and they had a free drink for us. There should probably be a little more printed information given out.

I liked it for being laid back and relaxing. I loved the iguanas and other wildlife and the fact that they didn't try to keep them at bay.

The pictures are not at all what you see when you get there. There is no working pool. There is no water in the cascading pools they don’t run at all they are empty, that is one of the things I was looking most forward to being around. The grounds need a lot of work. Old stock piles of broken beach chairs and just stuff sitting around. It needs TLC. There is so much potential. The beds are older and too soft. The furniture needs to be updated it is older and broken down.

We loved the location. It is very central. The ferry runs every 3 min back and forth from the island to the board walk so you can literally get there in a couple of minutes and go to dinner and head on to the mainland to do other things. We lived the snorkeling. They have free laundry service all you need is to buy soap so that was very convenient. The a/c was very nice and kept our room very comfortable. We rented a car to get to all of our other excursions and I would definitely recommend that because you will spend a fortune on taxis if not and spend so much time waiting around for them to pick you up. It is so convenient to have your own vehicle and you pick it up pretty quickly to driving on the left hand side of the road.
