Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndiaEverything went well. This hotel has been my home away from home since 2018. It is a full service hotel. However, currently, except breakfast, all other eating arrangements have been stopped since the panemic started. I hope they are able to restart their onsite restaurants soon.

AzerbaijanNo TV in my room. It would be fair to inform about this while accepting my booking. No refrigerator in my room. No plate, knife, spoon and fork for my personal use while staying.
A driver who met me at the airport. Receptionists who were ordering taxi to me and answering all my questions. A Cleaner who was cleaning the room very well. A location -peaceful and pleasant.

AustraliaThree of the five nights I spent here were disturbed by unsupervised children (around 10 to 14 years). They made so much noise in their room that it travelled to nearby rooms. At other times running around the corridor and on the stairs between floor levels. Noise from after 10pm through until after midnight one night. The staff seemed incapable of halting this behaviour.
The breakfast was quite good.

UzbekistanIt is a bit old and outdated, if you care. Also, the rugs seemed quite dusty so walking around without shoes or slippers didn't seem like a good idea.
I liked the old Soviet style. The bed was very comfortable and the location was amazing for me. It was easy to find and get taxis to and from, and there are parks and the Senate nearby.

HungaryThere were no labels on the food at breakfast, which can cause some surprising moments. (Personal experience: pancake, stuffed with meat, where I put some jam. It was exotic :) )
The hotel is located near the metro station, next to one of the main streets of the city. It was easy and fast to travel around. There are nice restaurants in the area. By taxi, the hotel is approx 20 mins from the airport. The place was clean, staff was very kind, in general we had a great time.

United Arab EmiratesNo fridge, no kettle despite being “4-star” and when we requested the guy at the front desk said they don’t have. And the same guy (night shift) wasn’t accommodating; apparently he didn’t wanna be disturbed.
The location and the money changer machine in the lobby. And the view from the balcony at night: The Ankhor Star (ferris wheel) and Tashkent tower.

ItalyA diplomatic soviet style hotel which had clearly seen better days in the past. The looking of the hotel is quite good, huge and spacious. Rooms are quite nice even if the interiors are a but outdated. But definitely I can't say that was my best experience un Uzbekistan, and not a 4 stars hotel at all. Hotel staff barely speaks engligh and at some point in the morning at the reception nobody does. Many times attitude from the staff was quite unfriendly and rude, like you are an unwanted guest. You was not even allowed to charge a can of beer on my room. Breakfast buffer is quite poor in choices, quality and quantity, I have to call out several times to have orange juice dispenser refilled. With a bit off effort this hotel would have the potential to be a its glorious past days. Only the position, in the city center and close to the metro station is to be saved. But for the same price I think you can have better options.

ChinaThis hotel retains the architectural features of the Soviet era, and the interior decoration of the hotel is also the appearance of the last century, which is very old. But also because it is too old, the room facilities are badly damaged, the health environment is also very general, the price is cheap, want to feel the Soviet style of the 1970s, stay one night.
