“The staff and the owner are all so accommodating. It's vibrant and so beautiful the surrounding areas with trees, bushes, fruit plants and a great swimming pool.
The rooms were gorgeous and suited everyone in our groups needs. Myself and Alex in a double.room with a private shower room and toilet.
Our friends were in the backpackers area which was also really good and had curtains.yo.sectopm off the sleeping areas for privacy and a shared bathroom/ shower room.
It's not slap in the middle of a busy section of the island so it's lovely and quiet at night. They provide breakfast with your stay and the food we had.from their restaurant was delicious..

“Outstanding hosts at Mandarin, feels just like home! We had a pleasant 2-nights stay and it was total relaxation for us. The ambience was great, very clean, all the staff were great, Chef Amir made the best of dishes (breakfast was also top notch) and extra stars for the GM Mr. Hany! There are different activities at Mandarin but unfortunately, we were only there to basically eat, sleep and enjoy the beach though I am sure they would be just as great. If you are looking for a great affordable place in Zanzibar then Mandarin Resort it is!”

“I got from my holidays in the Mandarin Hotel exactely what I was looking for. I was at low season, so there weren't many guests in the hotel. For me it was perfect, because I want to calm down, relax and chill, so I really enjoyed the quiety. The Personal is were nice and they are looking for you, that you always feel well and have everything. Especially thanks to Mr Suleimani from the restaurant, Mr. Hani the Hotel Manager and Othman the Animator, who always carrying about me. I really felt not alone, even if I travelled alone 😊

“Everything! The rooms were excellent and they were kind enough to upgrade me at no cost. The staff are amazing and helpful. The hotel has a variety of food options so I never got bored with the food. I also used their spa and the service was amazing so I would recommend it. As a solo traveler I did not get bored as they have activities to keep you busy. It was also not crowded I guess because of the season but that’s a plus for me as I don’t like a big crowd. In summary it was a value for money and I highly recommend it”
