The room (linen, bathroom, all) was in pristine condition. Kind staff providing good advice on the area and making sure you are comfortable. The taxi service they call for you is pricey, but super safe and reliable. The restaurant has quite some good choices of local and international food for breakfast, and the tables are good for business meetings.

I liked the friendliness of the staff, the food and the room itself. The staff checked in a few times to make sure my stay was enjoyable. They were super helpful and kind. Room service was sufficient. Came by regularly and even gave us privacy. The room itself was stunning and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and would absolutely visit again.

Side note, I know Marriott is an American chain but operating in Trinidad, would be better to quote all prices with the VAT included.

The pool is so small as to be useless for exercising. it appears to have been included so the hotel appears in searches including pool, rather than as a viable exercise facility.

The room was spacious. The bathroom was well appointed and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty.

Absolutely exceptional service!! From checkin, to breakfast, to housekeeping, to checkout. The establishment made me feel at home and very welcoming. Walking distance to Movietowne and there's also a PCR testing drive thru located next to the hotel. Parking is free and there's a security guard on watch. I've read in the reviews that you can hear people in their rooms, but I didn't hear anybody 🤷🏿‍♀️ The ambiance was phenomenal. I will be returning 🤗

Two things to to consider. Perhaps your menus can have a little more variety. Having microwaves in room

It was my birthday getaway so I was provided with a welcome dessert and card which was a pleasant and thoughtful gesture, I was also presented with another on the next day. House keeping also gave me a card with a beautiful birthday message. All of which made the stay more unforgettable.

Airconditioners are loud. Sound proofing needs to be improved, can hear people in crooms talking when walking down hallway, sometimes can hear TV and music playing in rooms next door (even tho the volume was probably withib normal range). Pool is just a little too short for laps but garden is comfortable. Gym is well maintained and equipped but little room even 1 person to stretch or do yoga properly.

The only thing I didnt like was that it took a while to check in ( the wait) but everything else was fantastic.

The shower and toilet was dirty and one of the rooms stunk

The shower was nasty. There was black soap scum on the shower walls and particles of hair and hair on the shower floor. The toilet bowel had a ring and rust like it hasn’t been cleaned properly. We complained about it and they offered another room where we saw the same problem along with sticky stuff on the floor at the entrance, like someone spilled soda or something. One of the rooms they tried to put us in had a foul odor. I requested housekeeping to clean the shower the next morning and they didn’t do the best job. The manager said she would discount our stay. Upon check out, she refused to do so after accusing my aunt that she ate breakfast when she didn’t. Worse hotel experience I’ve ever had. I would never stay at courtyard again.

I booked a king bed for my husband, and I. We were placed in a room with two double beds. Only when I mentioned it after getting into the room they said no rooms with king beds were available. (Mind you before and after I placed the booking I called the hotel and they had rooms with king beds available). I was also told when I book via booking.com, they dont see the room requested. They also said that the rate for a king room and a room with two double beds were the same. I asked to be moved to a room with a king bed. When moved, the 2nd room smelt off. Once more I had to call them and inform front desk. They came and took care of the odor in the end, but the inconvenience was so unnecessary

The TV looks nice but is old with no apps or Bluetooth. My view was much to be desired, and the ac unit was positioned in way of which it kept ur feet cold
