How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We traveled with 10 people so had two triples and a family room. We expected the rooms to be a bit smaller so had to manage living out the suitcase. We enjoyed our stay. The lap pool was great for everyone to cool off. We took the breakfast package which was great. Had both asian and western options. The location was fantastic with two major MRT station close by. The rooms were clean had a fridge,TV and excellent WI-FI. Staff were Friendly and helpful. There were lots of eating options very close by. We would recommend Staying here.

No breakfast facilities on site. Was a small restaurant next door but food very basic and cold.
Reception staff and concierge were very friendly and helpful. Room was compact but clean, beds comfortable. Great pool. Metro just 50 metres away. Food hall across the road. Walking distance to Little India

The beds very hard and very uncomfortable. The tv stopped working the day before we left, it was fixed that morning and then it stopped working again. Wifi was very temperamental in our room 630.
The customer service was excellent. The location was great, close to metro station.

- The rooms are pretty small, so it is not great if you have big luggage - The water temperature in the bathroom randomly changes - You are given a towel each, so no hand towel or towel for your face/hair - We experienced a problem with the door not closing properly (make sure you check it has closed properly before leaving your room)
- Friendly staff (we hope you come across David, he was the sweetest and gave us some recommendations) - The location is excellent (almost next to the MRT) - Cute design - Comfortable bed - Gave us a room for 45 minutes to freshen up after check out (we had a very long flight ahead so it was greatly appreciated). - Hawker nearby has some amazing food (near Bugis)

I didn’t realise that the hotel didn’t have a kitchen to serve breakfast. There were nearby restaurants that served delicious breakfast so that wasn’t bad.
The staff were very friendly. I was offered a room to freshen up after I checked out because my flight was late at night for free. That was very kind of them.

The rooms were extremely small, even the deluxe double with a balcony. Laundry facilities were across the road at sister hotel. Hotel held our luggage for they day and we were given a room later in the day for a shower prior to heading out for a late flight, however the room allocation was only for 45 minutes.
Hotel was clean with a daily service. Location was very good; across the road from the train station.

- clean room, daily cleaning - ideally located, close to an MRT, super convenient - Well equipped with amenities, toiletries, and safe - felt safe at this property - photos exactly as what you get in reality - I will gladly choose this accommodation for a future trip.

no bidet and the room a bit small
The breakfast fair and the room a little bit small we had 3 luggages and when we opened we don't have enough space to move we liked the bathroom but it's more better if you install a bidet and the location is great !!! accessible to anywhere,many eateries around, sure we will come back again

Rooms were a bit small, but not really there so OK.
Great location, comfortable beds, friendly staff. We had a late flight out and they let us shower prior to going to the airport which was appreciated.

No facilities to hang or store clothes and nowhere to store suitcases. Room was very small. Constantly lifting suitcases on to the bed to find clothes or items we needed.
