How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Little expensive but this is kind of average price in Singapore.
Room was very clean and cozy. Location is right next to orchard street and easy access to many facilities, shopping, etc. Really nice stay. Breakfast was good enough to enjoy. Staffs are quite nice and kind as well.

I didn’t like the layout of the room, the interior design for the bed area is really bed, you should change the layout like put the TV in the middle of the room, the shower area better used shower room rather than small bathtub. The furniture looks cheap.
The room is very clean, the size of the room is good. The size and bed quality is good.

Inconvenience in parking. I was required to collect exit ticket from reception upon exiting the carpark and despite being in a rush, I was required to queue together with people checking in and out. I suggest having another set of counter for this.
It’s convenient, friendliness, cleanliness and comfy accommodation.

Whilst the pool was great, it would have been nicer if the space was alot more open.
Central location and a easy walk distance to all major shopping centres. The room was extremely clean and well maintained by house keeping daily and the breakfast buffet was excellent. We also enjoyed the dinner buffet over one night and thoroughly enjoyed the wide menu selection.

Hilton Singapore Orchard had a lot of great breakfast buffet items. However I wish they had some halal food options as well. This would have made it perfect.
We stayed at the Hilton Singapore Orchard for 5 days this past April and it was amazing! The hotel is located in the heart of Orchard Road with all the designer stores in the vicinity. Every brand from Saint Laurent, Prada to Hugo Boss is there. We paid for the breakfast and it was worth it! They had over 20+ options which included a variety of food options. The housekeeping staff did a great job on keeping the clean and stocked with water and towels. The concierge always helped us he’s a taxi for sightseeing. My husband and I had a great experience while staying there.

Breakfast experience was not pleasant. The staff will personally guide the guest to the breakfast table so the guests don't walk in to find their own tables. For solo traveller like me, when I leave my table for 2nd helping and return, I will find my table cleaned up even though my cup of tea or my glass of fresh juice are still half full and the staff would have assigned to another guest. Then another staff will have to find me another table. The 2nd morning, it happened to me and another solo traveller. The food choices could be improved. I loved the fresh fruit juice bar.

We don’t have hair conditioner, every time we take a bath there is no hair conditioner and we’re too tired to even wait, because all we want is to rest after a long day. We asked for extra water and it takes a little while to get it, so we don’t call for the condirioner. The aircon was not that cold especially at night, the shower head holder is not sturdy.
Breakfast was okay, there was nothing new on the menu, we stayed here last year and nothing has changed on the menu. The location is perfect, it’s Orchard Rd. The only reason we stay here is because it’s a shopping street.

The way to the parking entrance is narrow.
Right opposite Ngee Ann City on Orchard Road, walking distance to everything on Orchard Road. Sparkling clean room with comfy bed. Spacious and clean bathroom, stable water supply with perfect temperature. Double basin is rare find for twin room. Hotel also provide complimentary Wifi and amenities.
