Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe lobby is located on level 3, which can be tricky to find at first.
Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Enjoyed using the facilities including the swimming pool. Located right next to Little India and close to several MRT stations.

United KingdomThe pillows were awful and so hard. Rooms are small and the decor is very grey. Nothing to buy in the lobby for breakfast apart from Starbucks coffee. A selection of pastries at least would have been useful.
The smell in the downstairs lift lobby is very welcoming. Very clean and had a full kitchen of utensils and pans etc. Pool was quite large with a jacuzzi which was great.

United KingdomNo daily cleaning service. Recycle bins were there but it would be better if there were bigger bins somewhere in the building to throw trash from kitchen.
Kitchenette facility is superb. It was very useful. Perfect location. Very clean and a good sized room. Overall, very satisfied. Will definitely stay there again. Recommend others to stay there as well if you are keen to cook sometimes when you get tired with the street food. You can easily get fresh meat, fish and vegs from the market just around the corner.

New ZealandHard to find the front door. It’s not at 2 Sherangoon Rd but actually off Hastings Rd. Not enough tea a coffee supplied. There may have been more in the shared kitchen but I found no information about that. The receptionist spoke too fast (wearing a mask) to understand everything he said.
A nice combination of hotel plus apartment with reception but also kitchen in a generous room. Nice new bathroom fittings with a good shower head

MalaysiaNo free parking, but they had a coupon system that helped a bit with the public attached parking lot. No breakfast option.
Strategic location. Multiple access to the area. Simple rooms, with basic amenities. Friendly staff. Small but nice pool to cool off. Good indian eateries and shopping in the vicinity. Short walk to modern shopping complexes, etc. Safe. Clean lobby, corridor and other common areas.

I spent a week with my family. The best part is the location of the hotel. You have everything you need nearby. For Indians and specially vegetarians you can even carry your ready to cook food and cook in the room. Since it was studio queen room all utensils and cookig essentials were provided. Studio queen is sufficient.

Good location, next to Little India and close 2 several stations. Room is big enough and with all essential items (cooking utensils and toiletries). Very clean and air conditioner is cold enough. Very clear for the arrangement of house-keeping.

Luxembourg- Bathrooms are tiny. - There is no secured place to leave your luggage after check-out. The luggage is being stored in the middle of the reception where everyone could freely access them. - I think that the hotel is a bit too expensive as it is just a simple apart-hotel with no restaurant or bar on-site and no daily housekeeping.
- Great location, very close to two MRT stations and to many restaurants and shops. - Clean & quiet rooms with very comfortable beds.

Sri LankaI booked the studio twin room with two single beds. The beds were about 2 feet wide which gave me the feeling that I would fall off the bed every time I turned from one side to the other which meant I did not have the most restful sleep. The pillow was also really tall. A few of the lights did not work although we did not mind this. There was no bottled water but they did have a jug for drinking water which could be collected from a separate location. I felt the price was a bit steep considering the size of the room and comfort of the beds but we did check in late so we could not take full advantage of all the facilities the hotel had to offer.
My mom and I stayed in this hotel during a 22 hour stopover in Singapore. It was a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport. From the start, the staff were super helpful. Easy to communicate with via phone and through booking.com even prior to arrival. Facilitated a late check in (1:30am) and later check out. The room itself has a kettle, microwave, fridge, iron, cups, plates, cutlery. The city view from the large windows was also nice. The location is perfect if you want to explore little India. After check out we were able to store our luggage by the check in/out counters where staff were always present. The bags were tagged so it felt really secure and we were able to travel without having to worry about our luggage. We were able to use the common space seating and wifi after check out which was useful. We were allowed to use the bathroom facilities to freshen up prior to our flight and the staff offered to help book us a taxi to the airport.

United KingdomThe option for breakfast was to buy a box. We took the other one which was to go elsewhere. The weather (Sumatra Squall ) did not help matters but that is not the fault of the hotel. One thing that was the fault of the hotel was that the room was not a twin room as ordered. We were very tired on arrival and were unable to lie down until an extra bed was found. This bed was put in our sitting room which is not ideal..
It was a great central location in an interesting area.
