“The twin room was spacious, it could fit a small sofa. The staff was lovely and always helpful. We had running water in the bathroom all the time (sometimes in smaller quantities, but always available). Electricity always worked too.”

“There are few hotels you can book online in Asmara. This one is the best in terms of value, comfort, and location. The city center with its great cafés is in short walking distance. The staff is helpful and friendly. They try their best with what is available to them. The room has a good size and is comfortable and clean. The bathroom reliably has hot water. There are power outages in the whole city (country), but due to generators, you always have light, TV, and wifi.The TV receives a large range of local and middle eastern channels. For local standards, the wifi works. It is very very slow and you will have trouble loading many sites, even gmail, but this may still be one of the best in the country and you will be able to communicate via whatsapp at a miminum.”
