Nothing to dislike the only slight downside for some people was that the shower while good was over the bath access to which might be tricky if have reduced mobility. Not sure if all rooms same layout

The hotel in a very quiet location about 20/25 minutes from main centre slightly longer coming back as uphill. There is a couple of local bars and some restaurants withing a 10 minute walk.. The hotel has a beautiful garden area with a good size pool and plenty of loungers etc. Room was a good size as was the bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful with a fairly good selection though it did not change from day to day. We had to leave before breakfast on departure day but the hotel provided a very nice takaway which was much appreciated. Staff super helpful.

If I had to nit pick... The rooms are not very sound proof, and unfortunately we were woken up on more than one occasion by other guests arriving back drunk and making noise at 1:00 in the morning, however this is more of a problem with inconsiderate guests than the hotel itself.

I loved that it was a bit out of the way of the main town but still close to some amazing beaches and restaurants. This place also strikes a perfect balance between affordable and comfort. Excellent value for money.

The breakfast was excellent, the best we had in our Portugal vacation. The Staff was very helpful and they helped us to book a good Boat tour. The Hotel has a good location and good parking arrangement.

There are limited parking spaces on-site, and one night I had to park our rental car on the street. However, the hotel is located on the outskirts of Lagos on a very quiet street so this was not really an issue.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by courteous and professional staff who made our stay as comfortable as possible. The room was very clean and spacious as was the bathroom, and even had a little private balcony with lawn chairs. We also really appreciated the doors that prevented any sunlight in the morning. The rooms were cleaned daily by the housekeeping staff with the beds being made and clean towels were provided. Finally, the breakfast was a nice touch with plenty of options and a great way for us to start our days before heading out.

The room was good, only problem was the lack of electric plugs near the bed. Also I don´t fancy to shower in a bath tub too much, but sort of also know this is very common setup in Portugal.

It is a fantastic original style hotel, with the loveliest staff providing the very best service.

The locational, the family run feel and the friendly efficient staff who made it a very nice stay. Staff are lovely. Almost like an instant family. Make you feel very welcomed. Can completely understand why people just keep coming back here every year. We will most likely do the same. Breakfast with various options. Location is fine for walking to town. Or €3.85 for a bolt taxi. Rooms cleaned each day to a high standard. Balcony is nice to sit and chill if weather okay.

It’s a little far from the center but a pleasant walk. It just happened to be a rainy day when I was there.

Delightful staff, breakfast, setting and special care to beautiful decor made this one of the nicest nights of my 13 nights in Portugal. I definitely want to return to Lagos because of this lovely place.

Great location in Lagos, away from the busiest tourist area but with easy access to the cliffside trails, beaches, and downtown marina by foot or convenient city buses. Friendly and helpful staff made us feel right at home. Daily breakfast and optional dinner one evening were very good.

Honestly there wasn't anything I didn't like. This hotel has many guests that return year after year..

This hotel was wonderful from the moment we checked in. We were welcomed like we were family :) George was at the front desk and let us know if we needed anything at all to let him know. We were pleased with our room, and getting the 2 beds we had asked for. A plus was the nice sized balcony with a table and chairs. Lina and her staff are very gracious and kind. The breakfast they prepared that was included in our stay was great! Not many hotels we looked at offered that. There was lots of variety of hot and cold entrees plus desserts. Everyone in the breakfast room loved the multi-option coffee machine! The gardens around the hotel are lovely and well kept, like the pool. The hotel is unique and in a nice neighborhood. We felt safe and it's really quiet. A 15 minute walk takes you into town for shopping, restaurants and more
