Shower sewer was glogged.

Room was clean and spacious. Balcony was a nice extra. Breakfast had the basic breads and coffees,omelets made by request i think. Good location,bit of a walk from the big beach Supertubos. Cute little Village is walkable nearby.I recomment if you happent to stop by at Peniche.

Beds are at they last dance. They are werry wiggly. Walls are werry thick so you can hear everything.

Great location. Nice room looking over the harbour/inlet area. Parking a short walk away but not secure. Helpful staff. Nice breakfast in sunny room at the front of the hotel. Few bars and restaurants very close by.

Mostly the internet didn't work. I reported this to the staff, but it continued not to function We stayed 6 nights and the bed linen wasn't changed.

Location: near to gate for Berlengas, also the fort…the rest is need a car or cab (normal, as the town concentrate in one area Room: quiet spacious, clean with minimal furniture, also air conditioning is magic

The only external noise issue was a night club about 100m away across the road (Clube Naval Peniche). it operated from midnight to 4am on both Fridays and one mid-week day of our stay (eve of a public holiday). The noise was highly repetitive bass, boom boom boom non-stop, and could only be reduced but not eliminated with air-con fully on and doors closed. Our ear plugs did not work for this kind of noise. We could not understand how this could be allowed, and were advised to call the police when it happens; not so easy with the language barrier (though English is fairly widely understood in the area). A second chair in our room would have been useful, but in fairness we didn't get round to asking for one. Both bedside reading lights did not work, and we were told they could not be fixed! This meant we had to turn on the main lights and disturb each other when getting up in middle of the night, not ideal. We had a "rotten eggs" smell in the room the day after some rainfall; by sniff testing I found the access trap cover on bathroom floor needs to be re-sealed. This would have prevented this natural sewer gas issue affecting people indoors. It only lasted a few hours and I forgot to mention this to management. We had no further rain after that so this was a one-off event.

Central location, close to lots of cafes, bars and restaurants, and on a relatively quiet street. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Nice variety of simple fare at self-serve breakfast 8 to 10am; great coffee machine. Good space in room with nice view over the working harbour, lovely and bright as all rooms face the morning sun, and are therefore relatively cool at night (great air con when needed). Free and readily available off-street parking just a short walk away. Spotless bathroom with great shower. We would definitely stay here again.
