I spent ages looking for the place, because the sign is so small I didn't realise it was just a building and you have to press a buzzer to get in as if you're going to someone's flat. The room was cold even with the extra blankets, but I think that's because it's February and they don't have any heaters. There are also a lot of stairs to climb, which wasn't a problem for me but would be for any one with mobility issues.

It's a great location and the staff is always accommodating. It has a lot of charm and has a 24 hour desk.

There was no air condition or heater. The room was very cold at night.

didn't mind that but the doorbell for the main flat rings throughout the night. If people's front door key worked there would be little noise.

It was a basic room in the centre of town. The room and bathrooms were clean and tidy. The only problem was noise as you're in centre of town so it's constant noise. But it was cheap and clean right in the centre.

1. We had a hard time unlocking the door to the room, but the staff helped 2.The bathroom door was left broken, so we weren't in a room with a bathroom, but in a bathroom with beds in it. I get that it is an old place, but to fix the door handle doesn't take a lot of time. However it provides the small pleasure of privacy, a comfort that we didn't feel unexpectedly. Minor inconveniences(things we read about in other comments, but we would like to highlight): -The room was purposefully small, including the beds -There are stairs to climb with no elevator -The window was an old one, so there is no possibility to get some quiet time during the night -In the mornings the staff were missing from the reception, nowhere to be found. -To enter the building there is a door bell. It is loud and the light sleepers can hear every time a guest is trying to enter the premises. Same goes for conversations at the reception desk.

The location is great. The Staff is kind and friendly, helpful. It was kept clean. The pricing is fair.

The furniture is a bit outdated.

The staff is amazing and the owner Pedro especially. Let us to leave our luggage after check out and even let us to take a shower before the flight.

The entry system of needing to ring the doorbell when arriving was problematic and annoying as it is a loud bell for other lodgers, and you had to wait on the street until someone attended - if I had known about this I would not have chosen to stay here. The listing suggested there was a washing machine, however when I asked about that it was explained that the one there is not for the customer use. There was also a listing of an outside area which when asked about it was made clear that no such area exists. The small lounge area was not really available either and in the evening the staff slept in that area to attend to the door bell. The staff were in no way rude, however they were not able to be helpful either as they either did not know the answer to questions, did not understand well or were apathetic

Overall it was an inexpensive stay, however I would have opted to pay more, or be in another location if I had known the truth about the accommodation facilities, and situation regarding entry.

Great location, walkable to many beautiful parts of the city. Staff was very nice and available to provide access to the hostel 24/7. Not a problem for us but it's good to know beforehand that there are 57 stairs to walk up and down and no elevator access. Also, there is no air conditioning in the room we stayed in but there was a fan. Note that there is also a 6 euro charge when you get there and they only take cash (in euros).

Older facilities and so many stairs without elevator - maybe not good for old or disabled people.

Very good location. Friendy staff - our room was ready earlier so we could have earlier check-in for free. Also on last day we could leave our baggage at the reception even after check out.

You hear the doorbell at night. No lift. Not a problem for me but be prepared if carrying heavy luggage.

The bed wasn't very comfortable.

The staff in general, and this amazing lady at the reception were very nice. We were lucky to have an early check In. The location is perfect, and the room was very clean ! There were 3 bathrooms in total which was convenient as we never had to wait.

No elevator and a big hike to the place ,if your infirm elderly with baggage it's a big ask
