Comfortable studio with a vast outdoor space and banana garden. Those who wake up early can enjoy the incredible view of the sunrise. The town centre, restaurants and seafront are a 5 minute walk.

Three small suggestions ... 1) There only seemed to be one 'sharp' knife in the kitchenette, but it wasn't sharp. A new knife would be useful. 2) Some written information in the studio would be useful e.g. where to shop, places of local interest, restaurant recommendations, what to do with rubbish. 3) We arrived at night-time and drove up the narrow, very steep hill to locate the property. Abel told us it would be better to approach the accommodation from the other end of the road. It would be a good idea to communicate this information to guests before their arrival.

Comfortable accomodation. Good location for exploring the north-east of Madeira during our 4 night stay. Close to village amenities, such as restaurants and a small supermarket. The studio was very clean. The kitchenette enabled us to cook meals. The bed was very firm, but OK for me! We enjoyed the use of the sun loungers. The shower temperature was just about OK, but hotter would be better! Many thanks to Abel for his friendliness and waiting for our arrival at 23.10

It wasn't too clear on the photos that the green area with sun beds belonged to the studio and not the house. The green area is very appealing! The bed could also be comfier!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The owner was very sweet and helpful. The accommodation was quiet. There was a little outside space to sit with nice views. The great restaurants and village centre were within a short walk away. The house had all we needed including a secure parking area. We adored Madeira.

The view is incredible, the owner is so kind. If you have a car, we do not recommend to go to Funchal since it is very complicated to park. This location was perfect, it’s a village with some restaurants and markets with very few tourists. That’s makes the experience even more real.

Very friendly host! He even took me to Perola with his car to hike PR10. Furthermore I had some dirty laundy to be cleaned. When I asked if they had a machine, they offered to clean it for me. The apartment was clean & well equipped. All in all I enjoyed my stay very much.

We were very happy with everything. The owner Abel was waiting for us in the middle of the night because our flight was late. The view from the apartment was breathtaking just like the bananas from the garden. To eat fresh bananas for breakfes every day is something you never forger. I definitely recommend the place, there was nothing we missed.

The owner was helpful and hospitable. He provided us barbecue opportunity as per our request. The view from the terrace of the studio was amazing. We were amazed by especially the banana and the other exotic fruits cultivation which was offered to eat by the owner. Hereby we would like to say thank you again. We spent a wonderful week of rest in these apartments. A wonderful view of the ocean from the window, a comfortable, clean and cozy accommodation that has everything you need. A friendly host who provides valuable advice. The X factor of this apartment is the banana garden opposite where you can treat yourself to fresh bananas.

You have an amazing ocean View and in the garden you can find fresh banana. The Host Abel and his wife are amazing and super friendly. There is a parking lot as Well. I would recommend to come by car, because the busses are rare. The room has everything you need.

The host of our accommodation was very friendly and helpful he provided us also with nice tips for our stay. The accommodation is very well located - a bus stop, as well as two mini mercados and restaurants are reachable within 5 minutes. As guest you will have enough privacy due to the private property to relax undisturbed on a sunny afternoon on the provided sun chairs and enjoy the great view.

Sliding doors didn't lock so anyone could enter through them. On top of that anyone could enter from the street too. There were more accommodations next to me and people were walking around the sliding door, with a view of the entire room. So unless I had the curtains shut, it wasn't private.

Thanks to Abel for letting us stay in this wonderful place - small but nice apartment with beautiful view over the village, the mountains and the sea. Having a coffee on the terrace under palm trees gives you the feeling of absolute peace. 2mins walk from the village center (steep alley!).

We liked everything.

We liked everything, great small apartment. Great garden to sit and enjoy your meals. Even has a small banana plantation which the proprietor said we could use. Kitchen well equipped, beds comfy, good selection of TV channels if needed. Proprietor was always upbeat and chatty. Not far from anything in the town. Porto do Cruz has some of the most amazing cliff views anywhere. Walk around the point and look up to Penha do Ãguia, 500m tall cliff face, below surfers crusing the waves. Being on the north coast there is more swell so sea are more spectacular when crashing into the rocks. Just a fab place. 😁😁
