Already wrote about everything. We stayed for another day and enjoyed our trip and stay in this historical hotel. We will definitely comeback again.

Beds and pillows were comfortable. Room and bathroom was clean. Hotel is old but it’s history and well maintained. Staff was good. Breakfast was good and ample.

Breakfast can be better as quality was pretty ordinary for a hotel which claims to be five star. Room cleaning was below par as we found human hair on the bed when we reached there. The room had to be cleaned again. The studio room had no view at all as this was disappointing for me.

The location was nice though view was pretty ordinary from the garden. The rooms were fine and toilets were neat and clean. The staff was courteous.

We had a great and one of a kind experience staying at Cecil. Their staff were very polite and cooperative specially hotel manager who welcomed us with upgrading our room to family king suit. My family loved it. Its scenic view towards the hills, lawns and a building standing since 1851, has seen all the famous people living and visiting here.they have gaming room full with pool table, foosball, table tenise and ludo it would be great to have video games for kids as well, but they loved it. It has uninterrupted hot water supply and the heating facility with wifi access at every corner of the hotel.

For studio wing lobbies were very congested and rooms. And there were two separate spaces, 1 for shower which was in room and washroom was in lounge/sitting.

Toiletries were missing like toilet roll,no toothpaste,no room slippers. Batteries of tv and inverter remote were not working

The building needs mentainance. Lots of updates needed. Chairs were falling apart. The shower head broke while I was taking a shower. Things could be better

More facilities for the guests are expected, especially in the executive wing. Room fridge was empty. Welcome fruit and snacks need to be added.

The abundant well preserved and ornate wood used in the hotel decor gives an old world charm to the place . Staff is friendly. Heritage wing is a great place to stay .

Reception team especially sonia was fantastic. Initially, we were given a studio room, which wasn't what we wanted and upgraded to the Hertiage main part of the building for an additional fee, but worth it. The catering staff, we must say are so polite and endearing. The hotel was impressively clean, and also staff onside doing something to make the customers experience sensational. It's worth booking here just for the sheer pleasure of the views, the local mall which is 5mins drive I the car.

1. Rooms should be easily locked by women.

1. Car washing may be done on arrival. 2. Verandah in front of Viceroy Suite should be same level. 3. Staff should be instructed to maintain silence while guests are in the room. 4. Lift needs to be added.

Almost everything was great. We travel a lot and have stayed in various hotels, but the hotel staff’s demands were excessive, which was a bit of a hassle. However, at Cecil, they don’t bother you unless you initiate contact, which I found to be the best. One of my best stays!

The service at the restaurant is pathetic food came after 1.5 hour late and the taste, quantity weren’t good, they gave us tea and dessert complimentary to apologise. But the next time we ordered the food came late again.

The heritage wing is really nice we stayed at the hashwani suite and its was awesome. The place is so calming made it a perfect weekend gateway!

Overall its good & comfortable Outside heritage building sitting should be more comfortable as at night it's difficult to sit while listening music
