    I like everything :)

Remote location, small (but very well equipped) camp, so you don't feel you are in resort with a hundred people :) You have a chance to know people and spend quality time. Very friendly, helpful staff. Don't worry about coming with your 4x4 even if you are not experienced in this type of car - unless you are not experienced as a driver of any car 😉 They will help you with tyres and you are to follow the guide. Also, take a camel ride, we had sunrise, you can choose sunset. Camp highly recommended

    Nothing.

Beautiful desert location away from the main runway and close to very nice sand dunes, room with very comfortable beds. Bathroom outside basic but satisfactory. Very good paid dinner, the best among those I had in Oman. Very nice and helpful owner.

Amazing location, super comfortable beds, delicious food, and very caring and welcoming staff! The camp is situation among the dunes and with a beautiful view. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience, and we had a really fun time getting to learn more about Oman from them. Highly, highly recommend this camp - one of the most memorable experiences of our Oman stay.

Nothing, just book and go 😉

It was a highlight of our all stay in Oman. Everything was just perfect. The location is amazing because it’s far from other camps and city. It’s a small camp with 5 tents so you can enjoy full silence and peace. The tent is so lovely, and you can walk from there to the dunes around to watch sunrise and sunset. Special mention to the staff. The owner, the guide and the cooks were all absolutely the best, so kind, helpful and lovely. The food was terrific, both breakfast and dinner. You can enjoy bone fire at night and watch the stars. We did the 3h tour, which was great to spot camels and learn about bedouins life. We absolutely recommend this place 🥰💯

    Everything was great

We had an amazing day at the camp. Faiz is a great guy, so funny and available. The owner is also lovely. The food is 10/10 and the overall atmosphere is super relaxed and family-like. Much more secluded and intimate that other big camps, totally worth your money.

If you hesitate about where to sleep in the desert, this is the best choice. Don't look for anything else. Great location, large, clean and comfortable tents, good food, great service and above all extraordinary host. The host is very nice, helpful and committed. You can see that he loves his job. He does everything for the guests. Great place. No scale for real evaluation. That's why "only" 10/10

It’s a familiar camp with lovely staff. If you are lucky they will tell you about Omani culture in the evening after a wonderful dinner - and welcome you back after having gotten lost in the dunes as if you were family. You sleep in a beautiful and very clean tent with your own little bathroom (save water!) and get delicious food (7 OMR for dinner and breakfast). Please keep it personal and consider not affecting the delicate ecosystem with quads or unnecessary jeep tours or dune bashing.

We stayed 1 night at the Sunrise desert camp and it was a great experience. It's one of the last camps reachable with a regular 4x4, meaning from your tent you only see the few other tents in the same camp and it's very quiet. We ordered diner and it was very delicious and way too much for the two of us. Staff is very kind and eager to help you to get the most out of your stay. You have your own private bathroom, keep in mind that showering end of the day means warm water because of the sun and early in the morning the water will be cold (not a problem for us).

They only have 5 tents isolated from the town, which makes for a more quiet and secluded experience. Dinner was delicious and breakfast much beyond our expectations. Service was impeccable and Faiz was extremely attentive, nice and polite. He truly cares for every single guest and makes sure that you have all that you need. He even stopped to show us a couple of baby camels on our way back to town.

Far away lights of Bidiya and some other camps affected a bit the possibility to enjoy the night-sky in its full beauty. Also the air traffic goes over the desert. So these very the few distractions, and much cant be done about it. Its probably the same in many camps in the area unless being somewhere in a deep desert.

Beautiful small camp in the middle of Wahiba tunes, no other camps in sight. Amazing encounters with wild camels. Friendly staff and very tasty food. We were well taken care of.

Everything is perfect. Clean and comfortable tents each with its own terrace. Nice eating/meeting area. Meals delicious and not expensive. Big dunes all around you. The host is very friendly and helpful and can organize each desert activity. You definitely need 4WD to get there with your own car and it's a good fun as the 'road' goes through the dunes and deep sand and you do it following the host's car.

Collectively the area could do with some cleaning up on the amount of plastic left lying around. Will ruin the overall area if they don't all join up to clean it up

We enjoyed the accommodation, it met our expectations.

A great experience is spending the night in the desert. It is not a cheap hotel, accommodation in the desert is different. Accommodation is private, not disturbed by other guests. A perfect experience is the possibility of a walk on the nearby dunes. You can watch the sunset or sunrise from the dunes. Everything is quiet, relaxing, comfortable. The accommodation is comfortable, convenient, with its own shower.

We had an amazing experience in Sunrise Desert Local Private Camp. Can only recommend it! We were completely alone and deep to the Wahiba desert, not like in other big resorts. The stuff is really kind and friendly. You will get delicious and rich dinner and breakfast, that you won't be able to finish. The tent you'll get is really cozy and the beds comfortable. Camel ride and dune bashing were an unforgetable experience.

The tents were made for a good nights sleep the authentic food was a treat. Fayez and the team made us feel at home. We will be back! Definitely the camp of choice if looking for a calm desert stay.

Nestled atop a high ridge, this gem of a desert camp stands as a testament to unparalleled serenity and natural beauty. The location alone seems to have been handpicked by the desert gods themselves, offering an awe-inspiring panoramic view that captures the essence of the desert's magnificence. The sunrise and sunset views from this camp are simply breathtaking. Witnessing the sun's ascent and descent over the endless dunes is an experience that etches itself into memory. As night falls, the campfire ignites, and the sky is painted with stars, providing an intimate setting to share stories and soak in the tranquility of the desert night. The tents, surprisingly spacious, offer a blend of comfort and authenticity. The beds invite you into a cocoon of relaxation after a day of desert exploration. The private bathroom facilities are more than adequate. Faiz, the gracious host, embodies hospitality in its truest form. With Faiz's hospitality and Basheer's culinary prowess, it's not just a stay; it's an immersive cultural adventure amidst the mesmerizing dunes.

The tent was original and traditional yet has all the facilities and basic needs such as clean bedding, fan, terrace in front of of the tent to sit and watch the starts at night. The camp offers a lot of activities, dune bashing , quads, camel rides. The host Faiz waited for us on time at the meeting point and offered the best hospitality on camp. The camp is located in a quiet secluded place between the beautiful dunes and they only have 5 tents which makes the place very exclusive. It’s good value for money and it is highly recommended
