Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SlovakiaOur experience at Safari Glamping was really amazing. We tried a lot of delicious traditional food, rented quad bike from a nearby camp, which is owned by the same person, and he invited us for a dinner at this bigger camp, where we had the opportunity to speak with him about his life as a beduin. The host in our camp was really nice and helpful, prepared fire and a really good food for us and as we were lucky to be alone there, we had a chance to speak with him. The room was really clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We drove to the camp by our 4WD car and it was simple and without any problem. You just need to have your tires deflated beforehand. 100% recommended experience worth the money.

ItalyWe had a great time in Safari Glamping! The camp is made of only three tents so the atmosphere is really comfortable and intimate. Breakfast and dinner were really plentiful and delicious, thanks to our chef, the guy who runs the camp

Very nice location in the desert, perfectly organized, friendly people at the office, a good driver for the transfer, Fourad took excellent care of us in the camp. Tent was beautiful, beds were good. Achmed, the owner , and his family)was kind and helpful. The two other guest were good company. We choose this camp because we liked to be further in the desert and wanted to enjoy the views, the darkness at night and the silence. Overall we enjoyed it a lot! (

Czech RepublicThis was exactly what we were looking for, a small quiet camp that could comfortably accommodate a family of 4 in one tent. Food was delicious and staff were great. We loved our stay in the desert. The highlight of our trip to Oman!

TurkeyThe price was a bit high once you add on the transfer fee, for what you get. We have stayed in Wadi Rum, in Jordan, and the glamping accommodation was nicer for not as much. But Oman is overall a more expensive country.
Dinner and breakfast were both quite tasty. We are vegetarian, and another couple was as well, and we had plenty of options to eat. The food came from the main camp nearby, as the facilities at the site were very simple. We were welcomed with dates and coffee, which was a nice touch, and pretty standard in Oman. The location was wonderful, with only four tents/huts. The made for a very peaceful location which is why you go to the dessert!

GermanyWe had a wonderful stay at the camp, we were lucky to be the only ones. We did the dune bashing tour, which was so much fun. The food was really good, we asked for vegetarian food and got amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner. We stayed 2 nights, which was amazing to relax and enjoy the vastness of the desert.

United KingdomHonestly, it was wonderful.
This was the highlight of our trip to Oman. The accommodation is basic but very comfortable and well appointed given its location. It was so quiet and peaceful. The food fabulous and plentiful. Farhad is an amazing cook and looked after us beautifully. Honestly, we will be back. We stayed two nights and wish we had stayed a little longer. To fully appreciate this part of Oman I think two nights is the minimum. Our host arranged dune bashing and a sunset camel ride. Both were really fabulous. The whole operation is super well organised. Very slick - we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Just one hint - have your shower in the afternoon when the sun has warmed the water a little.

What an awesome experience! If you want the real dessert experience, book a stay here. We were the only ones in the camp, which has a total of three tents. They provided us with really good care, service and food (a special thanks to Azim Uddin and his colleague!). The website states that you get breakfast and dinner, but if you are there more than a full day, you are also provided with lunch.

Switzerlandeverything was great
amazing experience in the beautiful sand dunes of the dessert - we wanted authentic dessert experience and stayed at the camp’s “mini lodge” - a couple of tents with a nice lounge area and facilities. The company couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating - they set up a third tent for us, from the welcoming reception in Badiyah, the friendly manager and amazing Farhad and Farouk who took care of our group of 7 for two days - everything was great. the luxury of this mini camp is in its remoteness and exclusivity of only a couple of tents, the staff only cater for you and the food they manage to prepare in the desert is delicious! extremely impressive. We did also some camel riding at sun set - the whole group loved it. beautiful paysages. As we visited end of April/beginning of May, it was very hot - unusually hot also apparently for this time, but we wanted exactly this kind of unique dessert experience. I would highly recommend the company and team.

United StatesThe camp is great. There are only two tents and you can rent the whole thing for yourself. We really got the experience of being out in the desert alone. The facilities are excellent with a good bathroom and shower and nice bed (no A/C). The tents are in the traditional style as is the dining tent. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Definitely worth waking up for sunset.
