Special atmosphere of past days in Arabia with modern comfort. Very helpful and polite owners and staff . We had a guided walking tour through village and oasis by owner - excellent information , absolutely recommendable !

Bathrooms were not so good, they need update.

The staff were welcoming and kind, always wanted to please. Location is great in the heart of Misfah old village, with all this green vegetation around.

The location was great - quite a few steps though if you have many bags. The staff met us on arrival with a cold bottle of water and cup of tea and dates. It was so peaceful and lovely and we just sat on the rooftop for the sunset call to prayer and read our books.

We were actually expecting more from this accommodation, since it was recommended by different travel guidebooks. It is fine and relaxed, but certain things were disappointing having read good reviews, like for example the rather average dinner.

It has its charms, being authentic and very relaxed. It has a nice dining terrace and friendly staff. We had a two rooms appartement with 1 shared bathroom which was OK since we were a group of friends.

I liked everything, we were sad leaving this place and hotel and for sure we will come back again as it worth to visit again and there is some trails around we would like to do it also.

Stunning place, people and stuff are so friendly and educational, room and food and everything around gave us the feeling that we are at home. Highly recommended and a must if you are visiting Oman.

Not adapted to everyone : you need to walk for several minutes from the main street to the hotel, which can be difficult into the stairs with your luggage (but you can pay someone from the palm grove to help you), the room are not from a five-star hotel but they are comfortable

Hotel well located in Misfah, you can easily from your room go for a walk into the palm grove. Rooms really typical, with beds on the floor and a nice decoration, with a private rooftop for some rooms

We loved the whole experience of staying in a genuine old house, renovated sympathetically. Rooms 1 and 2 are in the old house, with shared bathroom, other rooms are separate buildings among the terraces. Because of the slope of the village it felt like we were sleeping among the tops of the palms. As it is on the lower edge of the village it is quiet and from here there are lovely walks among the terraced plots. Be aware that access is by fairly steep steps and parking is some way from the house. By the nature of the property it is not 'plush', the beds are on the carpeted floor and very comfy, with spotlessly clean linen. Meals are served on the roof terrace with wonderful views. Loved it. The village gets very busy on Fridays with day visitors and parking can be tricky, other days are more peaceful.

The location is fantastic for doing a circular walk through the plantations and the village. Our rooms were together and it meant we had access to our own small shared balcony and bathroom which was fab.

They need to be much clearer about arrival. The property is not accessible by car, and the parking in the village is a nightmare. You need park on the approach road and then walk about 10 mins to the property. Fine if you know in advance, but problematic if you just follow Google Maps to the hotel, as we did.

Traditional Omani style accommodation. Basic but sort-of authentic. It was the only such accomodation we ahve found like this in Oman so far.

Charming, renovated old house in this mountainside village. The property has been very sympathetically restored and we had a delightful stay. The location within the village was perfect among the terraced gardens, with footpaths winding through. There are clear signs to the hotel from the top of the village. The rooms were comfy with mattresses on the floor as is traditional. They were spotlessly clean. There is a lovely roof top area for dinner and relaxing.

The walk down to the property through the village can be quite long and steep depending on where you can get parking so be sure to pack light.
