During our recent stay at the Millennium Resort Salalah, we encountered both outstanding hospitality and some discomforting experiences - Our experience at the restaurant was less than pleasant. The staff there, predominantly from Bangladesh, seemed to have a different approach towards guests of various nationalities. Their initial inquiries about our origins and the discernible difference in treatment based on skin color were disheartening. This kind of discrimination was not only uncomfortable but also disappointing, reflecting poorly on the overall inclusiveness of the resort. In conclusion, while the resort offers fantastic amenities and some of the staff are genuinely outstanding, there is a significant need for improvement in ensuring that all guests are treated equally, regardless of their background or appearance. We hope to see positive changes in the future, making Millennium Resort Salalah a welcoming place for everyone.

The manager, Sami, provided an exceptionally warm welcome, which set a positive tone for our visit. His professionalism and courteous demeanor were truly remarkable, and we were very impressed when he offered us a complimentary upgrade due to a slight delay with our room. This gesture demonstrated genuine care for guest satisfaction. The resort itself is quite stunning. The tranquility of the location paired with the excellent facilities, especially the swimming pool, made for a very relaxing environment. The staff at the pool were incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to our enjoyment.

The pool wasn’t clean! The impression I had was that the pool area was abandoned! In the hotel there isn’t alcohol… in my opinion this need to be informed

    The room is really good!

I have some notes on the price because the rate should be cheaper as my visit was not in the season. The drainage system in the bathroom is not effective bcs the it is becoming smelly quickly. The dust on the balcony is more compared to my last visit.

The overall visit was okay, I liked the spa, pools and the design of the hotel. The hotel is decorated with beautiful cultural pictures● the rooms are clean and neat.

Our room was not cleaned twice during our 5 nights. That’s ok … we can handle that. The buffet could have done with some more variety as it gets repetitive after some nights.

The hotel itself was nice. Room was comfortable and clean. Best part was the beach club … which is really chilled and relaxed on a lovely part of the beach (reached by car or hotel bus)

Unfortunately, the ventilation in the toilet in our room was not working properly!! Also they need to provide more shaded car parking spots.

the breakfast was good but there were too many guests. As it was hot many table were in direct sunlight and it was not that comfortable sitting there.

Airport and taxi charges were too high. Purchase internet and book O taxis as they're much more affordable. Dinner after Eid wasn't as good as the variety appeared to be leas

A 5 star hotel offering great comfort and service. Stays in the hotel, apartments, villas and chalets are available with breakfast, half board and all inclusive, although this is a dry hotel. We arrived early as 9am and the lovely lady at reception checked us in without charge due to seeing how tired the kids were. Check was smooth but I had to ask for information such as breakfast and dinner timings, how to get to specific areas etc. Reception staff on the whole were helpful as they helped to find out Eid prayer times,l and suggested the nearest hospital due a minor incident The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable with all the amenities you require to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. At times house keeping took longer to respond to queries but we got there in the end. We enjoyed iftar on the first night with plenty of food and drinks to choose from. Food ranging from local to international at the Taybat Restaurant with cool vibes outdoors listening to live music after Eid. Rooftop Sky grill offers a range of grilled food however there is a booking and extra charge to dine there even if you are half board. Zest cafe is allocated near the entrance, offering indoor and outdoor dining with pool views. Our Eid day was delightful as the children were invited to an Eid party consisting of a variety of games and prizes. They absolutely loved it, mainly due to the prizes. Eid dinner was delicious with a choice of Omani traditional food and international cuisine. The stonebaked pizzas were a huge hit and probably the best I've ever had. Violinist helped create a vibey mood. The pool was huge and had shallow areas, a lazy river which was cool but we got bored after 2 rounds. We never made it to the beach but there is a regular shuttle to drop off and pick up. These looked quite busy but 2 shuttle buses left at each time so they are trying to meet the demand.

There was some delays in house keeping. House keeping team to be trained more. It was informed to Mr. Sami who was too cooperative and helpful and solve the issues. Thanks Sami.

It was a good stay. The chalet design is good and recommended for families as gives some privacy. The additional external shower is adding value. Lazy river, swimming pool and beach access are very good. The plantation is nice. It is recommended to stay there. Thanks

For a resort All Inclusive Meal plan is a wrong Interpretation. All Inclusive means with Alcohol which the resort does not provide. It should be termed as Soft All Inclusive which means you will get only Beverages without alcohol.

The pool was amazing, room was good and spacious. The food options were very limited for the resort. The 3 days we stayed we had the same food especially when we have booked All Inclusive.

The pool area was taken over by the European guests who would book sunbeds with clothes and belongings even though they were not using the pool. The staff were unable to control this which means we would go to the pool and not have a space for our belongings and towels even though the pool was not busy.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and did everything they possibly could to make us comfortable. The management made our stay veey special. We were always able to fo to the beach club to find a bathing bed and some peace and quiet time. The rooms are very comfortable and very comfy beds.
