Some people might find it too close to the airport but that is also one of its advantages. The hotel is very much in a an up-market and secluded residential area so it needs a significant taxi journey to get into the city.

This hotel is all about the beach, wonderful access to the shore one and great support from the pool staff for your ocean swim. The restaurants are very high quality and the service excellent as you would expect from a first class hotel.

The hospitality in this hotel is very important and we were treated and pampered extremely attentively and courteously. Special mention should be made of Snow, Aung, Sheva from The Kitchen and Monica, Efrianty, Badashisha from the Zale team. We would also like to thank the chef at The Kitchen, as despite our gluten intolerance we didn't have to do without anything and he even prepared additional gluten-free dishes for us. Many thanks for a wonderful stay and a fitting farewell.

Wonderful hotel. The reception hall is stunningly beautiful, with an infinite view to a pool and further on to the sea. Rooms are large and comfortable. There is several restaurants and they all serve tasty food and nice ambient, at not so modest prices. Breakfast buffet is fantastic, well worth the price. The beach is clean and not crowded. Staying at this hotel was a great experience!

There was a storm the first night. My collage room leaked water via the balcony. it was good experience for him. Nothing happen in my room.

Only 2 things: (1) I found the mattress quite hard. (2) Though almost all the staff were lovely, there was one woman at the front desk who, when we were checking out, bold-faced lied to us about the cost of a taxi to the airport. She told us that the hotel taxi was 9 OMR (about 24 US dollars) and that this was "the same price as any taxi on the street." Having travelled extensively in Oman, we knew that this was not true, and we got a taxi for about 2 OMR (about 5 US dollars) to the airport using the safe and reliable OTaxi app. It seems like a small thing, but please do not insult your guests' intelligence by egregiously upcharging them for a taxi and lying to them about the street price. Most travellers understand and accept that services directly from the hotel will cost a bit more than if they were directly procured by the guest themselves ... just be straightforward about it. It was a small thing but it left a bad taste in our mouths after what was otherwise a phenomenal stay!

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and there are options for everyone! Two pools (one a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the beach), a tennis court, comfortable rooms, plenty of restaurants, and amazing service (shout-out to the wonderful wonderful staff at the pool bar!) The beach is nice, and the location is very safe. It is sparkling clean, well-landscaped, and the rooms are well-appointed (love the big bathtub and the rainfall shower!) The hotel also let us store our luggage free of charge when we had to check out several hours before our late flights that night, which was so incredibly helpful of them. Overall we really had an incredible stay.

one comment as this was the first stay of my kids in the hotel , the food does not take kids into consideration , we had took the open buffet dinner and there is nothing kids can eat from like pizza, burgers , nuggets etc.. , this should be added

Exceptional as usual , everything is superb. this is my 5 or 6th stay in the hotel and could not be more happy , again its super hard to find a better hotel anywhere else in the region

This hotel is pure class. Possibly the best I’ve ever stayed in. Staff are brilliant, so kind and thoughtful. The food is really outstanding - Zale restaurant setting is so well done with great food, and it’s true the breakfast and lunch buffets are staggeringly good - oysters, lobsters, a DJ playing lounge beats, tick tick tick. The location in the upcoming Al Mouj area is great for walking out a bit which is a bonus over resort type hotels. Private beach, nice pools, bowling alley all great for our kids.

Timing to room service (slow only 1 over 5 requests), cleaning in bathrooms is superficial. Staff is pushy at times.

Excellent staff, flexibility even though seen the price you would expect no less. Spa is simply gorgeous, as well as food.

Sink was blocking in the bathroom but was not looked at till we left Jacuzzi facility had to be paid for for hotel guest or only on booking a treatment No turn down facility for five star hotel and daily tidying up of rooms could be better Leaking iron and ironing board could be better

If you wish to do day trips, explore the centre etc pick up will not be covered from tour groups as hotel is far away from main central area. If you are just relaxing and staying in hotel and local neighborhood location is perfect.

Beautiful, clean hotel with wow factor. Lovely restaurants and food/ drink selections. We ate at the Indian and Thai restaurants, both lovely and the breakfast buffet was amazing! Room was spacious with lovely bath tub and relaxing balcony space. Welcome dessert sent to room was a lovely touch.

There's really nothing we didn't like.

The property has a very peaceful feel as there are plenty of staff, which helps guests to feel relaxed. Everyone was very kind and thoughtful, and the facilities were top notch. You'll feel a stay here is something special.
