The price of the hotel is rather pricey. People reserve sun beds very early in the morning and then they don’t show up until noon.

What we loved most was the scenery. Beautiful bay guarded by a small island and surrounded by mountains. And lots pf greenery arround the hotel. You really feel like in an oasis. The beach is really nice and peaceful and the views from the first row of sun beds are stunning. Stuff is really friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I accidentally dropped my phone while walking from the beach and they helped me find it. I was really grateful.

This is our second stay in Jumeirah Muscat, and fifth visit to Oman .. but this hotel is beyond expectations.. when they knew we had early morning trip before breakfast opening they packed our breakfast in small containers full of sandwiches, pastries and fruits *complimentary service* On daily basis we would find fresh flowers in the room, and room cleanliness is amazing .. Super friendly staff, and would accommodate your needs before you ask. They increased their water sports activities and would also help you plan trips outside the hotel .. Wide variety of restaurants and delicious food

Too much busy during weekends. On weekends wifi network is not working at full speed. I expected more from the gym, more space and equipment.

The breakfast was superb. The decoration and the staff are 5 stars.

The soundproofing in the room did not seem very strong - we could hear noises (doors slamming, children) even with the door firmly shut. Not a dealbreaker for us but something to consider.

Staff in the swimming areas and restaurants were very attentive. The food in the onsite restaurant - Peridot - and room service was delicious and had a lot of variety, you will definitely not run out of options. Excellent swimming pool facilities. Our room seemed very new and well-maintained, with full amenities.

There could have been more choice in the catering. Ramadan was certainly an influence, but I would have expected a wider choice of breakfast and dinner.

The wifi was very limited as I could not make any phone calls home via WhatsApp. This might be common to the region, but Jamal on reception helped me with a VPN link, but it wasn't easy to use. Some families had very noisy children in the restaurants and I do wonder if there should be a curfew for bringing very young children into some high quality restaurants like Brezza. Its hard for staff to intervene, but some families were quite selfish in ignoring the interests of fellow diners.

I had been recommended this hotel by a friend as it was relatively new and freshly furnished. The accommodation and room service were very good. My restaurant choice was limited due to Ramadan, as only one restaurant, Brezza, was serving alcohol during my stay. Having said that, the food and wine in Brezza was fantastic and I received excellent personal service there. I loved the beach experience and enjoyed a spa treatment. As a solo traveller, I was welcomed and looked after and received personal service from many staff, so it’s hard to name them all but Marj and Jamal ( on reception) stood out in particular.

A beautiful location, a stunning view from the room. The room was generously sized and kept spotless. The buffet was spectacular for breakfast and lunch. The beach was immaculate.

Restaurants are REALLY expensive. I mean almost 40€ for a chicken Caesar salad

Brand new, super clean, incredibly good service, relatively small and cozy, good restaurants and the beach is not crowded
