Overall Experience of staying in Golden Tulip was Good. Staff was exceptional and rooms were comfy. Housekeeping was good. For anyone looking to have a night halt prior to or post visiting Jebel Akhdar, this is an ideal location. Interiors are really classic and makes you feel as if you are living in a old palace.

The room balconies would be comfy but you look at a courtyard and into the balconies of others instead of enjoying the mountains around. The shower water drainage wasnt working properly. Very long corridors to walk to reach the reception/breakfast/pool.You will need 20minutes to reach the Nizwa souq.

Nice big and deep pool with a good cool temperature and not crowded. A few places around the pool had wonderful.shade under huge trees.Rooms are clean and okish, but a bit outdated. Polite and friendly staff.

Always come back here for their fish and chips, however this time they kind of overcooked and the breading is burnt. Please develop the recipe for waffle and pancake in breakfast, the texture is kind of dense when it's cold.

This is my second visit as the hotel offer best value of money in town. Room always squeaky clean, good breakfast, complete facilities, nice, quiet and cozy. Kind and accomodating staff especially Lucy who is very welcoming and gave free upgrade since there is availability. Check-out was smooth assisted by Samia, Lucky and Abdullah. Breakfast attended by Durga. Thank you also to Wasit Bar and In-Room Dining staff who always serve good quality food to the room.

Alcohol was expensive.

The room was very clean. There was a nice pool with a diving board and kiddies section. There was a slide and play area for the kids. There was air hockey and foozball. The restaurant had really nice food and a do it yourself barbecue option. Bath in the room. 15 minute drive from the Nizwa waterpark. Next to picturesque mountains. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Cozy and clean space to refresh after hectic days working. In-Room dining is tasty and always served piping hot. Stayed in a pool view which allow us direct access to the pool and courtyard which really nice. Staffs are very kind and helpful. Special thanks to Nishan, Lucy, Hasan, housekeeping, f&b and engineering team that made our stay relaxing.

Reached at night for a stopover. Indian staff at the reception (cud not get the name as no badge)was slow and wen we had issues with WiFi log in we were told “wat can I do, you come here!! “ this attitude did not make sense to us.
