Have nothing to say. Everything was great. Worth the money and half the fun was getting to the property as it's a few miles into the dunes.

Definitely what you would expect, and more. The location is the best part of the lodge, and they make sure to take full advantage of it. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the solitude of the desert. I splurged on myself and got a deluxe suite, and it was well worth it. Very beautiful rooms. Food was great, and lots of options to choose from. Loved my stay here.

not always easy to navigate at night.

Away from the main road, Desert Nights Resort gives you the opportunity to appreciate the desert with all the comfort that you need. Rooms are comfortable, staff is helpful and the food was good. it was nice having access to different seating areas, to board games while enjoying the piece and quiet. We appreciated the complimentary sunset drive and the short camel ride.

The experience of the sunset at the top of the dunes which is apart of the camp package and the motorbikes tour (you have to pay for it but it's worth) are two activities everyone should try it I recommend to take rooms away from the restaurant for more calm

It’s a beautiful place in the middle of the desert. The colors of the dunes, the soft sand on your feet when you walk down the dune and seeing the sunset are things you’ll remember.

It is expensive. Dinner is served later than I would prefer (7:30-9:30).

Staying at Desert Nights Resort is an incredible adventure. You are located in the Arabian desert surrounded by sand dunes with camels passing by. There is nothing quite like it. Furthermore, dinner and breakfast are included in the price of the accomodation; they are buffets and have a wide selection. Also included is a short trip in a 4WD to the top of the sand dunes so that you can watch the sun set and a camel ride in the morning. There are also a number of optional experiences that can be purchased. I chose to do the dune bashing and quad biking and enjoyed both immensely.

We were not particularly impressed by the breakfast. The choice was minimal (mainly eggs and beans), and it would be great to have more variety. Also, all extras (camel rides, soft drinks at dinner, etc.) were very expensive. We paid 5 OMR (12 EUR!) for two small bottles of mineral water. Considering the camp's cost, mineral water should've been included in the price.

Great location; no need to drive for too long to get to the resort. Dinner was abundant and tasty. The hotel offers various activities ranging from quad and camel riding to sunrise and sunset watching in the desert. They also have a lovely spa. The room was clean and modern + staff were attentive and helpful. They offer a pickup service at a reasonable price for guests without a 4x4. You can park your car at a nearby gas station.

    1. Trash left all over the desert- heartbreaking!!! This is evident with a walk or a ride to any of the gorgeous sand dunes near the grounds. The hotel should make it clear to guests that the environment MUST be protected, and the hotel staff should be charged by management with helping to maintain the beauty of the desert and clean up the trash. 2. Bothersome and intrusive noise during the day and evening from AWD vehicles bashing over the dunes. Omanis are rightfully so proud of their country and their culture, but the desert trash left behind was a sorry eyesore, and demonstrates a deep need for greater care for the natural environment.

Located in beautiful Wahiba sands, the hotel is very attractive, and staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Rooms are of ample size, clean and comfy. Food served is plentiful, delicious, and with many choices of cuisine.

Could have had a few more common areas outside to relax with chairs sofas ect, not only the restaurant. Note to hotel: please make sure that people remove trash from the dessert, unfortunately most dunes were filled with trash when we drove a little bit out of the camp.

Amazing location in the middle of the desert , nice dunes to walk up to for sunrise and sunset, amazing food and very friendly staff!

It would have been good to have a brush for sweeping up the sand just outside the room where we could sit. We took our shoes off to go in and out of the bedroom but the little ‘terrace’ just in front of it got covered in sand. Perhaps guests don’t want to have to brush their front porch but we would have been happy to do so and the hotel could provide rustic brushes in keeping with the look and feel of a camp in the desert.

The camp itself has a nice ambience and the rooms are simply furnished. It was nice to have a sofa inside the room as well as just outside the room (we had a deluxe double room). The restaurant was lovely and the food excellent. A great choice of dishes at both dinner and breakfast and the staff were helpful and friendly. The inclusion of a ride up to the dunes for sunset was fabulous, even though it was fairly short. The mini camel ride in the morning - also included - was fun for photo opportunities.

    Glamping in the Desert

We chose to do an ATV ride activity in the sand dunes for 30 minutes, but both our ATVs broke down in the middle of the desert. Our 30 minutes was reduced to 15 minutes because we spent all the time trying to fix the ATV and for it to work. Even the ATV of the guide broke down. 3 ATVs went out and only 1 came back. We made a complaint to the hotel but they insisted that we still pay for 1 ATV even though we barely got to enjoy it. I don't agree that we had to pay for the activity at all!

A Glamping experience in the desert! We arrived just in time (approx 1730pm) to be driven up the sand dunes to catch the sunset and it was magical experience. Also stay out at night to catch the stars which are incredible to watch. Buffet dinner was included and the food quality and choice were great, same for breakfast. Rooms are comfortable and spacious and having all the amenities that would you would expect from a hotel but in the desert! Wifi was super fast (also for desert standards!) 1 night at the hotel is sufficient to do and see all, it gets super hot after 11am and quite impossible to do anything else after the sun sets. There was also even a spa there but we didn't get to try it!
