I'm not a fan of music being played all day around the pool, I prefer to listen to birds, the sea etc. but having said that the style of music played wasn't too intrusive. In the evenings, however, there were often events on the bottom lawn where the noise from the PR system was unnecessarily loud. I don't need to know which employee has won what award at a corporate event when I'm on holiday! I particularly disliked the live music that was played on our last night (Tuesday 20th) - we couldn't sit on our balcony as it was so loud. Also, planes going over as they came into land was unfortunate but there's nothing the hotel can do about this.

A spacious, well-equipped room with a bath as an unexpected bonus. It was good to have a choice of restaurants (Omani/Persian, Gastro-pub, Italian, Buffet restaurant, Edge) so we could change where to eat during our stay without leaving the hotel. The advertised shuttle service has a very limited schedule but the 24/7 taxi service with cars immediately available more than made up for this. Staff were helpful, friendly and efficient.

more reasonable prices in otherwise lovely and tasty restaurant would be good ( but we had dinner there every night anyway)

Very helpful staff (Najma, Talal, Maddy and others) helped a lot with returning swiftly my airpods left at the hotel. Much appreciated, thanks again! The stay was very good. Although initially we thought we got a garden view room, we actually got a half- sea view which was nice. We liked hotel's private beach, kids enjoyed the pool, all clean and comfortable. The restaurant above the pool has great food and was busy every evening (note though: prices there are way above any other Omani restaurant we visited) Very good breakfast too. Spacious room - we were 2 adults and 2 kids in one room - I had my doubts about it but we felt very comfortable in the room! Sunsets are amazing

Although minor, non-alcoholic beverages were very expensive. A small bottle of water at OMR0.20O in many locations was OMR1.217 plus taxes of approx 23% in the hotel.That is exorbitant.

The location is first class as it has an unrivalled view out to sea and within easy access of major sites e.g. the Grand Mosque and Muttrah Souq. The service was fantastic, attentive and friendly. Food was excellent.

The view from the pool at sunset is exceptional! Great atmosphere at the bar around the pool. We had a very relaxing afternoon. Breakfast was very good as well, with a lot of options available.

Loved the hotel The beach 🏖 with rocks around is amazing Two heated pools. Gym with squash, tennis, hammam, sauna Spa with massages There is a nice pub with great food and also loved the Shiraz restaurant with local food. Amazing,! There is a charger for e-vahicle free of charge on the parking, for us it was important

The accommodation was amazing, we enjoyed it very much. Our room was big enough for a four members family. The breakfest was very delicious with many options. There are many restaurants there, bar, where you can watch the sunset, tennis court's, table tennis, too pools and an access to the small but nice beach.

Prices of restaurant are without taxes. Very surprising! Even more when you discover tax on alcool, on services, tourist tax and vat.

1. Service at the pool is non-existant. Felt like a joke. I don’t understand why this specific Edge bar in the hotel is run so bad. Also, sunbeds at the pool should be replaced in order to have a feel of a decent hotel. 2. I’ve stayed in what it appears to be a not renovated room. And the room was really shabby on one hand. On another - I can not understand how a holiday-purposed hotel allows to have wardrobe in the room that fit 5 hangers max.

Decent size room with a great view. Lovely private beach with sunset views. We rented a car for the day (very easy to do at the car rental within the hotel) which helped with accessibility as there isn’t much at walking distance. Helpful and friendly staff.
