The camp is very beautiful and the location overlooks the sunset and sunrise. We had a lot of fun with Hilal. He was hospitable and welcoming. He would entertain me by riding the sand in his car. He was a skilled driver at sunset and riding camels in the early morning. It was beautiful with watching the Bedouin house and the life of the countryside. We recommend this camp.

Oh, I took a moment to share my review. Trust me, this is one of the best camps in Oman. I have visited many camps but this one is the best of the best. The breakfast was very delicious with fresh vegetables and beef. The owner of the camp was very kind and picked me up from Bidya to the desert.The drive from Bidya to the camp in a Nissan Patrol Safary 4 WD ohhh this is my love. One day I will buy this car and drive to the desert again. We rented camels, quads, open fire, good beads all the best. Believe me, it's better than you might think.

We had a magical stay at Crescent Camp. The camp has a smaller amount of tents than others so is more peaceful and a more authentic experience. The tent and beds are clean and comfortable, there is tea, coffee and fruit available 24/7 in the main tent. Dinner and breakfast were lovely and had a variety of options to please everyone. Although some people have mentioned in their reviews that the meals and activities are overpriced, they are more affordable compared to other camps. There are balls and a volleyball net available for children to plan with. We enjoyed a wonderful dune bashing adventure which the whole family loved. It was magical waking at 4am for a bathroom trip and gazing up at the Milky Way above.

We booked only one night on a camp, but had such an amazing time. We were the only one group during our stay, but even though everyone worked hard to make our stay an incredible experience. We ordered dinner and breakfast and totally recommend. Food was very good ! During the day we been offered some snacks and fruits. Owner is very friendly and easy going ! He picked us up and on both ways did a Dakar Race through the dunes with us, we had a lot of fun

The owner does not really take care about time (arrived 1,5 hour later then agreed on the next morning). Probably not unusual but not very helpfull. But he is a nice guy, tries to organize you as much time as possible (dune bashing, camel riding, ATVs... :)

Very different and adventurous stay when travelling in Oman. Nice equipped camp has everything you need except for wifi and power in the sockets for charging your phone. But you can enjoy sunset from a swing, night sky, sit for hours by the fire and wake up with the newborn sun over the dunes (if you want to). We had a pretty amazing later afternoon and night in the camp, I absolutely recommend

The place is beautiful and very nice. The staff are very kind. They prepared delicious traditional Omani dinner and breakfast for us. We had a lot of fun riding the sand on 4/4 Street. Hilal’s driver was perfect and had great experience in sand blasting. The camel riding was very beautiful and the quad bike riding was very special. We thank Hilal for the beautiful and unforgettable hospitality. I recommend trying this camp.

-Breakfast could be much better (given the dinner was wonderful) -Check In prior to 4x4 pickup unfortunately included some panhandling from neighborhood children (who were cute, but just sharing for purposes of awareness - come with chocolate) -Only cold water to the restroom/shower, which was fine but could be upgraded with solar in the future...

-Comparatively, very well priced stay in Wahiba Sands -The desert surrounding is absolutely beautiful -The owner was prompt in communications with us, very helpful throughout and hosted a wonderful family style barbecue/grill dinner -The tent was quite comfortable all told

Spending a night in a desert camp was a great experience. The accommodation cost is more reasonable than the other desert camps, and you can add on various activities in the desert. The camp is very welcoming; the owner helped us with everything. He even helped us when we had issues with our car in the desert, I highly recommend staying at his place.
